I don't understand people blaming the parents. I know a few Gen Z that are into old music (sparingly, they don't listen to it all the time) but you can't force a teenager to listen to music they aren't interested in.

I see Gen X/Millennials saying "but my parents played old music around me!"....cool, but the major difference is the music we grew up on sampled the music Boomers grew up on. So there was a bridge there.

There is no bridge between modern music, and any of the groups listed in this thread. Not to the point where you can start a conversation about it.

This is all a completely separate topic from the t-shirt thing, but like I said earlier Gen Z has been doing this for years. I'm surprised it took this long for people to notice.

These kids don't even know the music samples from the 90s and early 2000s. it baffles me that they aren't even curious about certain things when they have the power of a supercomputer at their fingertips.

Younger gens didn't even know this was a poor remake of a better song:

Gen Z ain't really into music like that breh. They listen to it but don't care beyond that, when the song goes off.

Worst example of this was some white chick I saw working at a pizza shop. I saw she had a Wutang tattoo so I decided to test her g and asked if she could name all 9 original members. bytch named 3 and tapped out.:scust:Just shameful.
Damn. I just quizzed myself and only got to 7 :francis: Forgot Masta Killa and Cappadonna.

Back in my era whatever click you fell into had strong gatekeepers. that false flagging shyt did NOT fly. you were tested.

I asked a young breh about some ink he had recently and he didn't even know what that shyt meant tattooed on his flesh.

I chose not to enlighten him but cot damn :francis:

Posers and hype beasts :mjlol:

I always laugh when I see people with Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stone or other rock shirts because I know they don't know shyt about those bands :mjlol:

If people are on that old school wave why don't they wear shirts with Funk and Soul artists :jbhmm:

How do these kids not know songs by legends from our culture :why:
