i mean i kind of get it because some bands have way better merch than others. I don't even like Def Leppard like that but their iconography is dope as hell.

Meanwhile Radiohead is one of my favorite bands but I don't like their t-shirts very much. :yeshrug:used to rock this Sonic Youth shirt but I fukked with their music.

Not having any curiosity is a bit weird tho. Not even a quick youtube search of their songs? You can do this during lunch time or any random afternoon after school. I don't think music shapes young kids identity as much as it did in the past. All these kids have kind of "eclectic in a generic way" taste. A little of everything except county but mostly surface level pre-approved by the mainstram stuff. You don't have kids who ONLY listen to underground rap or kids who ONLY listen to emo/hardcore and it shaped how they dressed, how they talked, who they dated, etc.

:russ::mjlol: Low key this is who y’all have back and forth debates with on the Coli

Gatekeeping douchebag. Who really cares if these kids can't name an AC/DC song. Quit living in the past.

You can only listen to "Stairway to Heaven" before pulling your eardrums out.

Classic Rock radio is the worst. Yes, I would love to hear Hotel California for the umpteenth time.

The last girl was finna starting doing the salsa. :russ: Any way, my little nieces be wearing these shirts with artists from other generations, which I think it's cool. Just a fad but still gives love to some artists before their time.

I hate the pretentiousness of people who do this. What if they just like the shirt? And I have a 12 year old daughter so I know these shirts are in fashion now so let the youngins rock.
This. Finna get my nieces a few of them this weekend for back to school. I hope none of the grumpy coli nikkas hating on this.

It's not harming anyone it's just trend hopping. The issue is not what they are wearing, the real issue is that all they know how to do is hop on trends. Their test scores are abysmal. I'm speaking on the generation as a whole. I'm not really sure where they're going with it but it's not up to me to care either.
