As for the topic, I don't like how Dr. Umar Johnson responded to the situation. He just needs to get it together and start running a better operation. From what I've seen (no business plan at all), it is very poorly run. If you cannot even ask people to donate to your cause competently, then how am I to trust you to run the school competently?

I never really had a problem with Umar Johnson, I never was a supporter but I knew he had his hustle more strategized than Tariq and Tommy.
Dr Umar Johnson talks about traditions but still has their last name and still has an Arab first name,so he can't be that meticulous.
The truth is many of these so called leaders come about is because they are the ones with most hits on youtube yelling black power. And people fall for the cheese on the trap..
I also don't see the urgency to get a new school for black children, yes it would be good. But thats not first priority I beleive many of the past generations have fought hard fot blacks to have free education ''Brown vs The Board of Education''. Sending your kid to a private school is a luxury and thats not something the average black parent would want or need ,so Umar needs to deal with that reality. Besides with standardized tests,guidelines, and requisites for private schools,there is no escaping that the state government controls the pace of the way children learn.
