so there are any amendments or local issues or local races on the ballot in NY? the easiest thing for someone to do is simply request an absentee ballot, that way you can vote at home and mail it back for free.

Listen, it really doesn't matter who is elected to the oval office because both parties are beholden to powers who have donated millions of dollars to their respective campaigns. These donations are not made without the expectation that something shall be reciprocated.

I never claimed any Obama policies were so instrumental in helping the middle class, or that they were helpful at all. But since you asked, the stimulus, the Affordable Care Act, the credit card reform bill, and the student loan reform bill were helpful to many in the middle class. And the American Jobs Act would've been as well if it wasn't blocked in Congress by Republicans like a lot of other stuff.

But that's off-topic. Can you support your claim that Obama's policies are geared toward the poor? That's an absurd notion. No Repub or Dem presidential candidate even pretends to give a fukk about the poor.
