nah I always liked Pete, but its clear that the game is passing him by, especially on defense he refuses to switch shyt up and play very conservative

he is still an excellent players coach and a motivator, but...he had to pass a lot of control to modern coordinators or had to go

they invested a ton in this defense only for it to shyt the bed horribly this year. they have good talent, but they completely fell apart. defense is Pete specialty. he has a likely future all-pro in witherspoon yet he wont put him in man coverage. they never disguise coverages. what you see is what you get.

Russ and Pete both are legends out here in the great pacific north west
but all goods things come to an end
the issue with the hawks last few seasons has clearly been poor coaching
pete went from creating LOB to one that couldn't tackle a paper bag from getting 1st down.
