A question to some about genetics and race

I take it, you haven't been to South Africa, where the average male height is around 5'4-5'6 ish......

Nahh, never been, but I can speak on what I have seen. And I know there are some African tribes that are larger than others too. I'm not saying that black people are are ALWAYS bigger. But I believe they do have a tendansy to be larger. And untill some real research is done we will never know.

Wikipedia is about as accurate as a real Encyclopedia, but if you have a better source feel free to post it.

I don't really agree though, if you play sports you're probably have a biased POV since sports favor taller/bigger dudes. The people playing sports with you are probably mostly bigger than average. If you mostly hung around dudes that didn't play sports it might be different.

As somebody who doesn't play sports I don't see too much difference in height. Taller people just get more attention, especially in black culture since it emphazises sports.

I can respect your opinion, from your experiences but height doesn't automaticaly equate to size or strength. And your article just says both britanica and wiki are inaccurate so I don't think we should be fully trusting of any one source or author. There is not enough info out there to make a definative call either way

I'm mainly talking about height. If you're talking about weight or something like that then it could be different. But as far as height there already have been comprehensive studies done and in the U.S. it's about the same for blacks and whites.

C'mon breh, unless you got a better source than the CDC it's pretty much settled.

I'm mainly talking about height. If you're talking about weight or something like that then it could be different. But as far as height there already have been comprehensive studies done and in the U.S. it's about the same for blacks and whites.

Breh I'm not just talking about height, your data shows that black people are bigger, if you look at the BMI statistics and the waist, thigh, and arm circumference numbers blacks are slightly larger. But even this study is limited with only sampling a couple thousand people over the course of 3 years.

It seems the assertion being made is that if a particular race can excel physically, why can't a particular race excel mentally? I think this question is flawed on the basis that (and this is me positing this) evolutionary environment would seem to have a much larger affect on physical characteristics than mental ones. Being smart would seem to be just as important no matter where you lived hundreds of thousands of years ago, whereas certain physical characteristics would obviously be favoured based on environment.

That's how I see it anyway.
