That was an all-action fight, so glad to see Charles defeat Chandler and become UFC Champion. I went to UFC 124 in Montreal and saw him lose his first MMA fight against Jim Miller. The second time I saw Charles live was at UFC 210 in Buffalo where he submitted Will Brooks in the first round. Great to see him become the UFC Lightweight Champion tonight.

On another note hope Tony gets one more fight in the UFC the fans still love his effort and dedication. Nice to hear the crowd pop for him tonight.

absolutely no doubt he won that first round, but by 10-8? ... get the fukk outta here lol.. not even remotely close.

they did the same shyt with Diaz in his second fight with McGregor screwing him out of points in a fight that he ultimately won, but the judges scored it the other way to protect McGregor. the UFC has a lot of control over who wins these scorecards regardless of how much they say otherwise.

UFC is BIG BUSINESS and they generate millions of dollars wherever they go. no state commission wants to piss them off.

went 7-1 and made a few grands myself, muniz and beneil being the biggest ones.

how anyone could look at jacares or tonys last few and put good money on them was just stupid but without a doubt beneil -185 to -135 and muniz -110 to +120 means plenty of money thrown on those BMF's

I can’t think of a fighter who has become so much more mentally tough. The Felder fight was the last of the old Oli.

I remember he had a stupid tight darce, marce, and rear naked vs Felder in round 1. When those subs didn’t seal the deal, you could see Oli do the thing he did where he kind of broke mentally and got discouraged.

Ever since that loss, he’s looked mentally stronger every fight. He even was carrying himself with the aura of a champ walking out to the octagon last night.

Whatever he did, it worked.
