I do have to say though that there is much more of a chance for attraction to grow exponentially from a woman's point of view than from a man's.

Even if a woman doesn't find a guy attractive at the first meeting there is still a big chance for that to change if more time is spent together/they get to know each other more. I hear and see this all the time, in the beginning she was kind of "meh" about him but then either other attributes like intelligence, humor, loyalty etc reveal themselves and suddenly she's obsessed.

If a guy doesn't think you're cute from the beginning it's pretty much over relationship wise.

So all in all, cheating is more of a lack of character thing to me.

Just erase "etc." and put $$$$$$$$ We all know lifestyle is huge for women

If a bunch of men could join the 20%, they would, and then that would be temporary because the scale of what a top tier man in the eyes of women would just slide higher. On a macro level this exists already with income.

If it's easy for a dude to slide into the top 20% he was probably in the next 20% already, which can do okay with an "average" love life, but was lacking somewhere. I think dating, like socioeconomic classes, breaks down into quintiles.

Most married couples don’t ever imagine their relationship ending in infidelity. But the truth is that even the happiest marriages can be and often are rocked by cheating. There are many reasons men and women cheat. Loneliness plays a role, as does boredom and alcohol. Maybe a close relationship with a colleague goes too far during a long night at the office. It could also look like a longer-running affair where a spouse turns to infidelity to fill a physical or emotional void left unfilled by their spouses. The root causes of cheating are varied, but infidelity is common. And it’s not just men who are unfaithful. Women cheat on their husbands more than we think.

“We have this idea socially that men are cheaters, all men are susceptible to cheating, that men are dogs, right?” says Alicia M. Walker, an associate professor of sociology at Missouri State University. “But the data tells a very different story.”

What Walker noticed from working on her book, The Secret Life of the Cheating Wife: Power, Pragmatism, and Pleasure in Women’s Infidelity, is that women are cheating at least the same rates as men. Turns out, the cheating wife is not an anomaly. And depending on the age group and behavior, sometimes women cheat even more often than men. “Way more women are cheating than we think,” she says. “We just don’t like to talk about it and we don’t like to think about it. You don’t want to think that your neighbor, your Sunday school teacher, or your friend is doing this. But the reality is, you know a woman who’s cheating, you just don’t know that she is.”

Prove me wrong. I seen it in the military from first hand perspective .

Whenever we got a new woman in my division and she would spend the first few weeks talking about her husband all day and how much she loves him. A lot of us would hit the because we already knew what the deal was. Fast forward to a few months and she's getting a train ran on her on the ship (I have personally seen this happen 3 times while I was in the Navy). It's even worse on deployment. These wives were throwing orgies in their hotels whenever we hit a port . Imagine kissing your wife on the mouth when she pulls back in from a deployment where she got ran thru. Each time I wanted to tell the husband, but I figured they wouldn't believe me.


The fact is that women have to balance between men they find attractive, and men with resources. A man with both is rare so most women just marry the man with resources and get some D on the side from men they attracted to .
That's why I always when #Uglygang convice themselves to stack their paper; what makes you think she won't cheat on you my guy.
