the team was progressing well before LaBrenda got hurt. granted he was still plotting but to just panic and throw it all away because you so pressed for another star is ..... man I dunno brehs.
Its not just some other star. Its Anthony Davis, arguably the best player in basketball. When you get a chance of getting a generational talent like AD you do it.

Say we trade the whole roster for AD. Who fills it? Also keep in mind the Hill contract will eliminate us from major signings.
We are way closer to a title with the current cast and a max player than we are with AD/Lebron and a bunch of filler. Signing a bunch of one way players is not going to beat the Warriors as they play one way players off the floor. By waiting til the offseason you can find out if the Warriors are still together, if you can sign a max free agent, if Kyrie leaves Boston removing them as a trade partner, and you can take back multiyear contracts once that max salary slot is filled. By far the best course of action is to wait until the offseason and get a better picture if coming off all those young players is worth it or not.

The proof is in the way they played when he was out injured.

They LOST. They lost so much they went from top four to not even mentioned at all.

Everybody and they mama knew that when Lebron signed on the dotted line that the terms “Building the young core” “potential” “high ceiling” etc were out the door. Lebron isn’t someone you sign to mentor young teammates, you sign him to win championships, and win them NOW. That fact alone should’ve put Zo, Bi, and Kuz on alert that it was put up or shut up time. What did they do to accelerate their growth?

Zo still can’t shoot worth shyt and is a terrible finisher

Kuz is hot and cold

Bi let his rashness and hot-headed decision making lose him precious games/minutes at the start of the season.

This is LA. The home of showtime. The home of Magic/Kareem and Shaq/Kobe. Not the home of letting young players “fugure it out” like the Mighty Ducks. To win a championship in the modern NBA you need at least two SUPERSTARS. Lebron is one and they aggressively went after AD to get the other. Simple as that. Bi, Kuz, and Zo together ain’t winning NO championships, hell they aren’t even a playoff squad
lets keep it real. the laker player development is straight :trash:

The Laker's young core should be happy to be traded out of the Lakers franchise for the sake of they career and progression

Breh you making too much sense. You know these dumbass fans don’t like that :mjlol:

Except Bi, Kuz and Zo also all got injured. And for a brief moment they looked like they were turning it around, then Zo rolled his shyt. So no, he isn't making too much sense. And please tell your fellow LeThot @Ziggiy to stop running around and copy and pasting the same exact post in multiple threads
