Nah we deadass should trade Lebron for AD. I've been sitting here thinking about it for a good hour and it'd honestly be genius.

Kawhi wont sign with the Lakers because of Lebron. So why not replace Lebron with a superstar who is 10 years younger, who gives us a better shot to get another superstar whose games complement each other a lot more. While also most likely getting valuable firsts round picks back. While also keeping all of our young players. Literally a win win trade. Only loser in this whole trade is lebron and who gives a fukk :yeshrug:.

Lebron ain't done shyt for the lakers to get treated like he's earned a statue. The whole team already doesnt fukk with him. This makes sense.

At least Kobe was a real leader and vet to the young guys. No subs or anything. Called out the team directly and himself at times. Tried to look for ways to win with whatever he had :wow:.
Kobe even tried to do some assistant coaching when he was injured to develop the young guys more :to:

Was hoping the picture below would be how Lebron would look with our young core after winning a ring together, but I guess not :francis:

Well, the Clippers are essentially bowing out of the playoff race with the Tobias trade so that is good for us. Hopefully the Kings and/or Wolves don’t make any moves.

my bad just saw this now. if you still havent seen it here it is

As Davis trade talks heat up, young Lakers looking for answers | NBA.com

The proof is in the way they played when he was out injured.

They LOST. They lost so much they went from top four to not even mentioned at all.

Everybody and they mama knew that when Lebron signed on the dotted line that the terms “Building the young core” “potential” “high ceiling” etc were out the door. Lebron isn’t someone you sign to mentor young teammates, you sign him to win championships, and win them NOW. That fact alone should’ve put Zo, Bi, and Kuz on alert that it was put up or shut up time. What did they do to accelerate their growth?

Zo still can’t shoot worth shyt and is a terrible finisher

Kuz is hot and cold

Bi let his rashness and hot-headed decision making lose him precious games/minutes at the start of the season.

This is LA. The home of showtime. The home of Magic/Kareem and Shaq/Kobe. Not the home of letting young players “fugure it out” like the Mighty Ducks. To win a championship in the modern NBA you need at least two SUPERSTARS. Lebron is one and they aggressively went after AD to get the other. Simple as that. Bi, Kuz, and Zo together ain’t winning NO championships, hell they aren’t even a playoff squad
