Magic & Pelinka looking dumber by the day.

Also the more games that go along it's more clear BI/Ku dont mesh well. It's due to BI not always playing great off ball. And also Kuz not really having a great skill set outside of slashing.

Although Lonzo Ball has no say in where he lands in a trade, his preference would be for the Lakers to find a third team such as Chicago or New York as a landing spot for the second-year point guard if he were part of a deal for New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis, according to sources not authorized to speak publicly.

Ball’s camp has concerns about how crowded the Pelicans’ backcourt is. The problem for Ball is that he’s a key part of what the Pelicans want in a deal for Davis.

According to sources, the Pelicans view Ball as a player who would become the starting point guard. They don’t see Jrue Holiday as a point guard because he “doesn’t want to be a point guard,” one source said.

The sources said the Pelicans would play Ball 35 minutes a night and make sure he “would fit” in with New Orleans so he could become a star.

The Pelicans also have interest in Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram and Ivica Zubac, and they likely would ask for draft picks too. The Lakers intend to make an offer for Davis soon, and it could involve several of their young players.

Jrue and Lonzo would be a A+ defensive backcourt. And if Jahil continues playing at a high level they would be a deep team.

Y'all already seen how LeBron rode off on the Cavs' new recruits last season. This was the plan from day one. LeBron can make any team look like champions, but he still needs actual championship caliber players to win one.

LA giving away all of their defense in a potential AD trade is just stupid. Give up one of Ingram/Zo, but not both.

That’s why I’m not a big fan of AD doing this right now. Puts the team in a fukked up position especially knowing that these other teams are actively trying to screw us over.

This team ain’t perfect but it’s a much deeper team than it would be gutting it for Davis like the Knicks did with Melo. Not to mention, a strong playoff run would’ve boosted the value of our assets to offset all the hype around Boston’s pieces.

Of course you do. But realistically speaking, even with the trade I don’t see us beating GSW. This move becomes worse if we can’t add worthwhile pieces to the mix. Although, AD might be just what we need to draw a Kawhi, Klay, or even Kyrie to the team.

I just wish he woulda waited until next season to make this announcement. Would’ve been much easier for the Lakers to finesse.
