If I had to guess...

The plot looks to be in the middle of nowhere.

No running water, no electricity, etc. It would cost a lot to bring those utilities to the plot. While the idea of land ownership is great and more of our people should be buying up land... thought and resources needs to be put into land development, which is another beast entirely.

Facts… another idea is to buy a town. There are towns for sale

They don't know what they're doing. Simple as that. You can have an idea and have absolutely no idea of how to implement it even if the desire is there to do so.

You think they gon come work for free? I mean in a perfect world they would because they see the vision. But then how do you get them and get them on the same page and then get all of the residents on the same page?

I believe it's possible but it requires leadership.
