Well, you know what. I hate to say it but maybe they should have got rid of the gay guy. And I know it's not ethically right but the thing is that like you said, look at how many employees they got rid of because of him. He is costing the company more than what he's worth. But if they was to let him go, of course he's going to file a lawsuit saying that he was canned because of his sexual preference. He truly has the company by the short and curlies. I would definitely ask to be transfered because it's like a sexual harrassment case. Your word against his and they will probably be more likely to let you go than to let him go because he's gay.

I hate those bytch ass pirates. They probably jealous of the attention y'all give those women. Even some women have more tolerance or aren't as sensitive as them bytches. It's girls at my job that I grab they ass, call them bytches or just just stare at their chest when they talk to me and not even once cried sexual harassment or insensitivity. But then again they only on 18-21 range so maybe it's different

lol youre playin with fire breh.

Depends on what was being said. From what I can gather from people in the know, there wasn't any blatant gay bashing. Just insensitivity that the gay dude didnt like.

Doesn't have to be outright gay bashing...

How would you feel if some white co-worker is always greeting you with outdated ebonics like "What up my brotha?" "Just chillin with tha homies?" and trying to give you a dap?

Of course I don't really know what happened, but come on, it has to be some level of insensitivty for managers to get fired. At the very least dude was the butt of the gay jokes.

That's exactly what it is. We had some real smart and quality dudes that were here for 5+ years.

Now we are all behind, we got customers calling and threatening to cancel orders, and we got a couple processes that no one here really knows how to do. I'm over there trying to figure shyt out and this dude sitting up twirling his fingers and shyt.

Dude has been the worst hire ever, I bet the guy that decided to hire him is pissed at himself. We used to have a very comfortable friendly environment, now people walking around on eggshells scared they might say something.

I would adress those things directly and I have done that on this job. I wouldn't go running to H.R. Trying to get people fired.

Never heard of anyone getting fired immediately for doing something insensitive. Usually there's a warning system in place or something so if they were really smart and quality, they'd probably still have their jobs.

Or look at it another way, maybe the company's going under and no one has told you yet :ld:

You sound like the 1960's corporate white dude that hired their first black employee. :russ:

"My work enviornment isn't comfortable with him around"

"Its all his fault they got fired"

"Why can't I make black jokes, say the n-word, and laugh about it with my friends?"

:laff:

Just do your job and it'll all straighten out. :scheme:

Like I said. It's not about his sexuality. It's the fact that he''s a snake. I didn't even know he was gay at first so if I had said something around him and he heard it he woulda told on me and got me in trouble instead of addressing me as a man.

That's why I'm uncomfortable around him. He's an office rat

in theory...why are you talking about sex at work though?

Come on dude, that's the place we are at the most, other than our homes, so of course you build relationships with people, so they are gonna have those type of conversations.

So a couple months back, we get a new hire in. I never really talked to him, just hello/goodbye.

About a month ago, one of our long time employees got fired out of the blue. Soon after, we started having a bunch of sensitivity and harassment training sessions.

A week later, A manager gets canned, and we have another harassment refresher course. Time goes by and two more employees get canned. By this time I know they are getting fired for saying insensitive things, but I just don't know what.

Today they moved me over to that section and I got a chance to meet the new hire, and immediately I knew what happened. Dude is gay than a sumbytch, and I know the guys that got fired due to him.

Most guys that work here come from a mechanic backround so they are used to manly jokes, hoopin and hollerin at women, ect. I think it's unfair that they were expected to change themselves because we got one employee in that doesn't like the way they are.

Now we are down 5 quality employees and weeks behind cause one gay dude wanted to come in and act like a fakkit:pacspit:

:pachaha:
