Stephen A. is a moron :snoop:

The things Mark Jackson did in Golden State makes him a huge red flag. The man was turning players against each other and bumping heads in the front office, he is more of a motivator than a true X's and O's coach. If its about bringing back somebody on some "once a Knick always a Knick" shyt I rather bring back Jeff Van Gundy or get Doc Rivers.

My list for coaches...

David Fizdale
Jerry Stackhouse, 905 Raptors
Ime Udoka or Ettore Messina, Spurs assistants
Jay Wright from Villanova
Shaka Smart from Texas, he used to have a Brad Stevens aura around him
Jeff Van Gundy
I would take Scott Brooks, after he gets the deavors in DC, to develop these young players for a couple of years. Then fire Brooks and get a real coach once the team is ready.

Man that was ugly as hell, this dude Deandre Jordan saw our frontcourt and had dollar signs flash across his eyes like a Looney Tunes character. Jeff Hornacek is actually making it hard to watch a rebuilding team with predominantly young players because of his weird ass rotations.

Burke came back down to Earth a bit, still a solid game which is promising for his long term prospects. But I didn't like that bit of diva at all. He made a late, lazy pass and got mad when Frank didn't bail him out. I don't think Burke should run the plays as often, he's score first through and through.

Frank actually had some a handful of nice passes in limited opportunities but you could visibly see dude's confidence shaken when he picked up his third foul. Lou Williams really challenged him on defense and he didn't look like he trusted his jumper. I want to see him run plays more often because he made good decisions when he got those chances. That late game drive for an and-one on the break was pretty as hell too.

Mudiay is a really nice playmaker but he's gonna be limited until he can consistently put the ball in the basket. I don't care how he does it, but he has to make the defense respect him. I can't get over the complete inability to draw whistles when he drives WITH CONTACT...it's incredible. If he could just get something, a midrange jumper or finishing, he'll have a lot of a value. His playmaking is promising but needs that one extra wrinkle to take off.

Troy Williams finally flashing range. I don't see any reason to think he can't be developed into an athletic 3 and D rotation man. Love his motor, hope he can make that three ball a consistent weapon and like his defensive effort even if his decision making could use more work. Let's give him a shot for the next season and a half.

Dotson's 7 minutes were probably my favorite portion from any young player. When he got in there in the fourth, he was hungry. Dude managed to show some passing and scoring off the dribble in really limited opportunities. He's always energetic on defense, he's already shown a really promising jumper and he mixes it up for rebounds though he didn't log any in this game (he battled Harrell for one though). Hornacek seriously needs to get this kid more minutes so we can have a better look. I know the rotation thing is tough, but tonight there were a lot of guys doing lazy things. It shouldn't be difficult to punish a vet making a lazy play when you're trying to develop the youth and have a young, hungry wing waiting for his shot.

Luke Kornet got cooked by Boban Marjanovic's Gheorge Muresan-lite looking ass. Dude looks like Kylo Ren mixed with the big dude from all the Adam Sandler movies. Step your game up rook.

Tim Hardaway was solid but Walt Frazier was right. He hasn't really stepped up. It might be by design, letting the other guys get their reps. The thing is, when things go off the rails like in the third quarter, that's a time when he should step up quickly. It'll be a nice sign of growth into a leadership role. That's kinda what I'm looking for more than anything else right now.

Speaking of Clyde Frazier...rare form last night. Dude had so many funny characterizations for the way players were performing that I lost track. I just remember Beasley doing something completely inexplicable and Frazier being like "there's goes Beasley's shenanigans" smooth as hell. I was cracking up. He really isn't being disrespectful, just real as hell when he says "at least Mudiay hit the rim this time."

Hornacek...I feel like the rebuild starts when we get his replacement at the moment but maybe I'm just being emotional after that ugly ass game.

1st Round Playoff Exits
Didn’t even know we had a game last night:ehh:
I caught the second half. It was brutal. Tbh the knicks need a fire sale, everyone needs to go.....

Aside from courtney lee.

Kanter got destroyed in the paint by DJ, on both sides of the court......
Rebounds and disrespectful dunks.....

Kanter needs to be moved.....

No, your initial gut feeling is right, Hornacek needs to :camby:The sooner the better
Hell they can fire him and hire me, I’ll work peanuts while they work out a deal with Fizzdale. I’ll be coaching on my Steve Kerr ish, having the players make the plays:mjgrin:

This team would look so dysfunctional :mjlol:

I'm sorry brehs but I don't really have high hopes for mudiay, he doesn't look like he'll ever get a good feel for the game to be a player in the league. He's barely getting by on pure athleticism.
