There's a nice body of evidence to suggest that Mark Jackson is a terrible coach who I don't want anywhere near the Knicks. I'd keep Hornacek over Mark Jackson...Pennywise can stay with the kids over Mark Jackson in my book. Fizdale would be a good pick up and I've had some intelligent basketball heads sell me on Blatt as worth a shot as well, but my real wishlist is this guy ...

I assume he's groomed to replace Pop but NYC has a draw and grabbing someone who has been in the Spurs stable, replaced Pop when he couldn't coach AND has international chops (aka connections) would be a straight up coup. This would be my dream hire but I'll repeat that it's really unlikely to go off.
I don’t remember what I was listening to, probably Simmons but he said that teams would be smart to try and pick up Winslow or Stanley from their teams while they’re in such “low standing”. I think i prefer Stanley...

Mark Jackson would have this team iso-ing and taking mid range jumpers like it's the 90's again
The offense could be a lot better now for sure, but I have no faith Mark would make it any better, I'm positive he'd make it worse in fact.

it aint his jumper...its the fact that he ONLY takes jumpers.
those true shooting stats would look wonky for a lot of players if all they took was jumpshots and never got layups.....and rarely got to the line to help shift that true shooting percentage.

obviously...but compared to where it was at the start of the season it's steadily improving atleast beyond the 3pt line.
