Yall need to stop trying to claim Melo is a NYer. When I was in college and country dudes would try to claim NY, my 1st question was what HS did you go to? If the answer was "Oh nah I moved when I was 8", then yo ass aint no NYer. If you didn't go to HS in NY, you aint from there. Even finishing Jr high in NY isn't cutting it. You may get a pass if you move after sophomore year in HS. You better hope you still have a NY accent.
This is my 1st time hearing Melo's name out here (Yes I live in the Baltimore area) was "Lil NY". Maybe til he was about 10 or 11. Melo is west Bmore thru and thru. The "I'm coming home" shyt was MSG marketing.
