Melo's best position for us was PF so technically true. Individual talent wise, our SF position still could use an upgrade even though I love Courtney Lee's consistency and McDermott off the bench; but for the most part our roster wasn't really built cohesively for SF Melo especially the last couple of years.

The one year we had a good supporting cast for Melo we won over 50 games

If the team didnt bail on him we mightve gone to the Conference finals

Yeah i get it, Carmelo wouldnt fit well with this current team, he is older now too

Internet silliness. Obviously Melo was the best Small Forward we've ever had.

But, it would have been nice if he was more willing to do some of the complimentary things to help create more motion. That's not his game, which is fine. It was not necessarily his responsibility to adjust his game. He's in OKC and I wish him the best of luck.

Agreed and best of luck to melo. How quickly we forget that during Melo’s best season in NY he was being hailed as our savior. Wasn’t his fault all the old vets got too old to play and we “upgraded” with that fukking malignant tumor Andrea Bargnani.
