this is not my lane

But as i know many arabs and berbers would be considered "black"

as i know egypt shared ancestry with populations south of the nile as well

Everything i've seen points to them being (horner) east african looking in appearance
North Africans are genetically distinct from Sub-Saharan Africans. They share some ancestry due to Ice Age migration, but they are more closely related to Middle Eastern and European populations. The amount of Sub-Saharan genetic admixture increased AFTER Roman rule of Egypt.

but they depicted themselves differently from other north african and middle eastern tribes.

And had a distinct reddish-brown appearance that overlapped with nubians and people from Punt.

Even today there's this east african horner look that curves up from the horn, through sudan and into egypt

What is "fake" about that book in your opinion?
The entire premise.....

This is hilarious because the person who originally came up with this nonsense was a 'White' man.....

Ancient Egyptians only used 4 ethnic groups so their depictions don't mean anything as they're not literal.

yea but they seemed to be centered on at least the average appearance of the related groups. I know on hieroglyphics Egyptians used all types of colors. But its centered in a redddish brown depiction separate from other north africans and middle easterners
They aren't literal depictions.

They are stylized depictions to show the 4 different ethnicities.
