Still feels like a lifetime on t/here. Over 20 years.
This is the only website I visit regularly besides streaming and porn. And I stick to one porn site, too.
I've always been proud to be in the inner circle of the Web. Especially early on, the Brehs knew way more about the Web than the public.
I learned that music and software are highly attainable back then.
I still say someone here created the hugely popular "Crying Jordan".
Now "smilies" with real human faces are pervasive along with smilie gifs and remixes.
That's not a scholarly opinion. I also imagine that the shyt I saw on SOHH and the Coli might have been swiped from elsewhere.
But I still tell civilians that I am a part of a secret web society that has been pulling strings since the beginning of the Web.
And I feel that way.
Crazy the celebs and minor celebs that came thru here.
Shout to @TAYLONDO SAMSWORTHY for being down to Earth to rock with us for all this time. So many public personas just can't fit in here for whatever reason.
I'd feel a massive loss if the Coli went away. It's something truly beautiful and special. And disgusting. And inappropriate.
