this mentality has plagued Dynamite for months, being scared to have stars lose is why we get matches of stars versus jobbers like Kommander every other week (even @dh86 would agree with me on this one)

It's a tournament for a world title shot at arguably the most featured episode of Dynamite of the year, there's nothing wrong with a star losing to a star in that scenario

Somebody with 0 TV wins as a singles wrestler (who most recently was seen losing a tag match) competing for a world title devalues the tournament, even if he wins the match

Agreed, nothing wrong with having stars lose to other stars

Could’ve gotten a fresh new matchup between like Darby and Hangman (for example)
