I have no idea what you are trying to say in the 2nd paragraph :heh: but my point is that the current situation with Punk screams for a future match were he faces someone that's presented as someone that can kick his ass. Not in a "real/shoot" way, but in a pro wrestling way. Just imagine Punk getting defeaning "you are gonna get your fukking head kicked in" chants because fans have really bought into his heel character and on the other side you have another big name wrestler that has the crowd on his side, not as an underdog, but as an ass kicker.

To be honest, someone like Eddie Kingston will also get a huge reaction for stepping up against a heel Punk. But I believe a well presented American Dragon would sell more tickets and PPVs in that role.
No I know, what you said I agreed if they kept Bryan built up, it would have been a perfect clash, IDK if that is Bryan just "living out his bucket list" and not caring about his booking or TK being TK and bryan just being lost in shuffle because there so many other toys.

My 2nd paragraph is alluding to Reddit geeks that just bash Punk and now trying to prop up Bryan just to bash Punk even more. Both were the right choices, but Punk was never a bad choice and AEW are lucky to even have him. My theory is Vince just didnt give him enough money in 2019

Even though I thought the Acclaimed should have won it last night, I hope Tony doesn't run it back at Grand Slam. You can't recreate the magic that was that match. The best course of action now is to wait until the next PPV to crown the Acclaimed.

When have they been given 20+ minutes in a tag match before….?

They've had 15 minutes a bunch of times. Bowen is really good, Max is kinda ass.

The point is that Swerve and Keith Lee are professionals that make EVERYONE look better than the are. They tell stories while doing all the indy shyt AND being unique.

Wardlow would be perfect but I don’t trust TK to be able to get him there.

Also, It’s a lot of mofos that owe Ryback an apology too.

And the acclaimed aren’t professionals even though they’ve been wrestling in AEW for 3 years? :dead:

You really can't put DB in a position to be the face of the company, because of his concussion issues.

His unwillingness to comprise his style and protect himself is getting old.

They don't have half the experience of Swerve and Lee. :dahell:
Thats not what I asked you, They’ve been wrestling professionally in the 2nd biggest promotion in the world for 3+ years. Are they not professionals?

This is just like that stupid shyt Punk said about the Elite “never been anywhere or done anything” in wrestling.

But then AEW fans turn around and get mad when people call them the minor leagues but you have your world champ reiterating that same BS.

Not hard to see why Cody left.

A friendship that was public about 10 years ago, lol. MJF literally returned at the end of the main event, but the first question Punk receives is a question about Colt Cabana.

He shouldn't have to explain any of that lol
Did anyone ask him about Colt before he went on that tirade?
Cause I've heard multiple people report it was him who specifically targeted a reporter who had done improv with Colt in the past to springboard into his rant

Nobody mentioned Colt. Seeing that reporter set of Punk's tyrade.
