Brolic... Alcoholics
Just realized I haven't made a prediction but I'm going with Canelo.

I think his feinting and ability to counter will be something that Charlo isn't used to seeing.

So now..as it stands...whoever wins is the most targeted in boxing..Crawford wants the winner..Bivol has again said he wants to fight for the Undisputed super middleweight titles..Benavidez definitely wants the winner...even little Timmy trying to sneak his name in the conversation.

Canelo Alvarez Moves Camp Near Lake Tahoe In Search Of High Altitude Training After Decade In San Diego

Undisputed super middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez is trading the seaside for a small mountain town ahead of his matchup against Jermell Charlo in Las Vegas on Sept. 30.
Citing the desire to train in a high-altitude location, Alvarez has moved from his longtime training camp location and residence in San Diego and instead opted for isolation by building a training compound in Truckee, California.
Truckee sits at 5,817 feet above sea level and has an estimated population of over 17,000. Alvarez has been in the incorporated town that sits just 12 miles away from Lake Tahoe ever since camp started.
“It's good. I'm in Truckee, California for the altitude because, you know, when I fought in Guadalajara, Mexico [and beat John Ryder in May], I felt the difference in the altitude. I felt better. My body felt better. I was still in rehab for my hand. But I felt better in everything. So that's why I chose to come here to train in the altitude. My body feels good,” Alvarez told BoxingScene.com in an interview.
Alvarez (59-2-2, 39 KOs) could be looking for answers and the need to change things up, especially since he’s openly wondered if he’s lost a step over his last three fights dating back to May 2022 and the second loss of his career to Dmitry Bivol.
Alvarez trained in San Deigo for the last decade, including for the first part of his camp preparing for Ryder before relocating camp near his hometown of Jalisco. At the time, Alvarez was coming off left wrist surgery following his win against Gennadiy Golovkin last fall.
The avid golfer Alvarez is no stranger to the Lake Tahoe area, as he’s participated in several celebrity tournaments in the region over the years.
Training in near isolation is also nothing new for the 33-year-old four-division champion.
Alvarez has also previously held camps in Big Bear, California, the popular mountainside training location preferred by boxers like Gennadiy Golovkin, Oscar De La Hoya, and Sugar Shane Mosley, among others.

Jermell Charlo Will Beat Canelo Alvarez, Says Only Common Opponent Austin Trout

Canelo Alvarez and Jermell Charlo are set to square off in a super middleweight fight on September 30 in a battle between undisputed champions.
Alvarez (59-2-2, 39 KOs) has been a professional fighter since 2005 and Charlo (35-1-1, 19 KOs) since 2007, but the pair of 33-year-olds only share one common opponent throughout their careers, and that’s Austin Trout.
Alvarez dropped Trout and scored a unanimous decision win despite being outlanded 154 to 124 against the former super welterweight world titlist during a competitive fight in 2013. The high-profile win at the time next set up Alvarez with a fight – and his first pro loss – against Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Charlo scored a majority decision against Trout in 2018 while twice dropping the fellow Texan in a 154-pound title defense.
Trout recently opined on how he sees the fight between his former conquerors playing out.
“Canelo is very explosive in his punches. He’s not going to punch the whole time. He’s very choosy and picks shots, but he places them very well,” Trout told K.O. Artist Sports.
“So if Charlo is going to be busy on his attack, he’s always keeping in mind that his shots are coming. So I think Charlo should be busy. Don’t worry about Canelo’s size. In my opinion, I think Charlo is the bigger man naturally.
“Even though [Charlo is] coming up in weight, I think that’s going to be a benefit for him because he’s been sucking down to get to 154. From what he’s coming down from, I don’t know, but I’m guessing close to 200, for sure.
“In my experience of both men, I walked Canelo down. I was on the back foot with Charlo. Now, it was a five-year difference, but nonetheless, that was the difference, in my opinion. Charlo was definitely the stronger man at 154.
“Yeah, [Charlo] put me down twice. Canelo put me down once. I came back and won the round. They didn’t give me credit for it, but with Charlo, I had to outbox him. I couldn’t walk him down. I couldn’t try to out-brawl him.
“With Canelo, they forced me to have to walk him down and brawl him, and I was able to, in a sense, to have some success with it. He’s a little bit bigger. If Jermell is going to stand there, it’s going to be great for Canelo.
“If Jermell is moving a little bit, pot-shotting, Canelo is going to have to try and break him down, hit the arms like he does, and work the body.
“The body is going to be key for both of them. Charlo can hurt Canelo to the body, and Canelo can hurt Charlo to the body. So, I think the body work is going to be key. Canelo is very good with the body work, but Charlo is too. So, we’ll see what happens.
“I don’t think Canelo has the great advantage like a lot of people do, and I’m pulling for Charlo to have an upset based on his recent past performances. I do think Jermell can have success on the outside.
“Then when [Charlo] stuns him and stings him, which I believe he can capitalize on it. I think Charlo can pull off the upset. Canelo is more consistent in and out of the ring. I don’t know Charlo’s lifestyle outside of the ring.
“I think Charlo can, especially when you think about the last few performances. Charlo has looked good in his last three fights. Canelo, unfortunately, has not … So one may have more wear and tear than the other.
“I think Charlo is more in his prime. Canelo is still in his prime, but maybe in the tail end of his prime. That’s my idea and my opinion.”

I miss this canelo :mjcry: .....this was the last time he looked spectacular to me. Probably the best his feints ever looked. He was extremely fast. Light on his feet. Super accurate. Head movement superb. It's like his legs have been shot ever since this fight. I think this version of canelo beats everyone. Just too sharp top to bottom.

Still holding out hope he can regain this form. The loss in speed is the biggest issue for me. He's gonna have to be quick for jermell, David, and possibly bud. I wanna see him come in light for this fight. Maybe around 166. Take off some of that mass. Canelo always looks best when he comes in leaner.

Already expected the premade excuses to come as the fight got closer. Meanwhile all of canelo's training footage looks to be centered on defense and agility:wow:....looks like he's trying to turn this into a midrange fight and be in charlo's chest from the start. Canelo gonna remind everyone how skilled he is. Think there's a false belief that Charlo is more talented. He's really just more athletic. Other than that canelo is superior in almost everything else. Even handspeed if we're talking bj saunders canelo.

I still think charlo's athleticism and counter punching ability will give canelo problems early. But canelo will figure him out by the mid rounds. The biggest factor will be defense. That's where I think canelo has the biggest advantage. Jermell gonna be surprised by how hard it is to touch canelo.
