I dont think Jermall gets to fight Canelo at all now...it would have been a good storyline if his bro got KOed early.

I think the winner of andrade and benavidez has next.

Canelo has an aura about him that makes these boxers lose confidence....if you aint confident in yourself you aint beating Canelo.

It's not an aura. It's skill. People act like canelo is some plodding one dimensional guy. His skill level is elite. Great defense. Great timing. Greats feints. And a really good jab when he gets it going. He was Poppin charlo's head all night with the jab.

Like canelo said. His style looks easy watching on TV. But when these guys get in the ring they realize how skilled he is. A great defensive fighter with knockout power is hard to beat. Outside of bivol he's literally made every single opponent gunshy.

Canelo's wide punches while his feet are planted would be easy openings for Crawford to counter

The thing is. Even those punches are hard to read. And they almost help canelo in a way. Because opponents get a false sense that canelo is wild and they can time him. But then the next punch he throws will be sharp and right down the middle. That's how he got that knockdown. Charlo was expecting something wide and canelo came straight through his guard.


Jermell had absolutely no idea what canelo was going to throw here. You can tell by his body language. Dude didn't know what hit him.

I’m a big Spence fan and I always said any talk of that fight was dumb too. I have no paying interest in these no hope fights where one guy is moving up 2/3 divisions to get decimated in the name of “chasing greatness” or whatever. Canelo would’ve obliterated Spence too at 168.

All these fights are stupid and a money grab. Canelo needs to fight David!

I forget who said it but someone said that about Pacquiao when reminiscing about fighting him. That is to say that there is this aura a fighter will feel when going against the very best in the world. I wish I could remember which fighter said it about Pacquiao.
