It makes zero sense to let the fight marinate more. The fight is ready TODAY, not 6 months to a year. What the fukk is the wait for? Even if, say they want to make the most money with Canelo and don't want him to lose value in a loss in the first fight of the contract, why not have built in rematches? This fight with Jermell makes zero sense, just like his fight with Jermall made zero sense. It's benavidez and no one else.

Nah actually it does make sense to let it marinate. Right now an excuse is lined up. Benavidez only has one notable win, and not much big fight experience. This will be used to discredit Canelo's win. Canelo about knock off both the Charlo twins. In this time frame, Benavidez has the opportunity update his resume, wit 1 or 2 more credible wins. The only way Jermell isn't brutally stopped is if Canelo has lost a step significant enough to even the playing field. Other than that Charlo is getting his ass WHOOPED. To me this is career suicide. This is not a diss to Jermell, who is a very good fighter. But he's jumping up in weight to fight an all time great who still has some juice left. He will get hurt badly if Canelo is even 75 % of himself. But hey, this is boxing. Anything can happen.

Ok..and I'm comparing Jermell Charlo to the success rate that Plant, Billy Joe got done for rounds on end until he walked them down and tagged them. Charlo works a better jab than that...and that's what throws Canelo off in his big fights most of the time. We'll see. I keep telling you Canelo is smoke and mirrors..he hasn't been against anyone elite except GGG in the first half of the 2nd fight.

Why are people pretending like canelo and Charlo didn't start at the same weight class? .....just cause canelo moved up and dared to be great doesn't change the fact that he still has the frame and height of a junior middleweight.

And to top it off, jermell deserves this fight more than David. It's just the facts. Where was all this energy when David was calling out mungia last week......canelo got a 3 fight deal. obviously one of those is gonna be David as long as they both keep winning. When canelo moved up from 160 to 175 to fight kovalev people said canelo was cherry picking an old man......after the Ryder fight most of y'all said canelo was washed up. What happened to that?.....you guys have so many different narratives going with canelo you don't even know which one to follow anymore. This is a prime undisputed champion moving up 11 lbs to fight a washed up great. correct?
