Yea I'm not sure why some spence fans get defensive when people mention his flaws. Every fighter has flaws. Floyd did as well. And floyd was also tested many times in his career. One of those times by Marcos maidana who he was vastly superior to in every way. Sometimes it's not just about technical ability. Every guy has a style they struggle with. And I just think porter may be that style for spence. He hasn't seen anything like this before. I think porter's physical strength and awkward movement will give him some issues.

But maybe I'm wrong. I hope I am. Spence is my 2nd favorite fighter behind canelo. And to me the best fight that can be made in boxing right now is Spence vs Crawford. So I'm rooting for both guys until they meet. But over anything I'm just hoping this is a great fight. If porter happens to pull off the upset that would be a dope story too. There's gonna be a lot of eyes on boxing on Saturday. I think spence and porter are gonna do something special. I just feel it in the air :banderas:
Don't think Porter is the dude who will pose the most difficult style to Spence. Porter is at least awkward for anyone but Brook was strong enough to tie him up and largely negate his offense. Spence can do the same, he is also a physically strong 147er and he's also a better, more active inside fighter than Brook was.

Imo Spence's kryptonite could be elite stick and movers who don't let him get into his groove, set up his jab and land his body shots. For all his great tools Spence isn't the fastest guy on his feet, that could be how to beat him, get ahead of him...
Only guy capable of that is Bud imo, but it's a legit 50-50 to me, or 51-49 cause I'm picking Bud but only by the slightest of margins.

Benavidez might stuggle with someone who has good movement and skills but Dirrell gonna be there to be hit imo, going life and death with Yildirim is not the best omen going into a Benavidez fight. Yildirim was cleaned up in 3 rounds by Eubank easily to put it in context and I don't see this as some spcific kind of stylistic matchup what could alter the paper form either.

Hagler wasnt the fastest but kept whooping ass and pushing everyone back...Spence is still a bulldozer.

I agree with everything except who I personally favor in the fight, I give a slight favorite something like 54-46 to Spence mainly because of Buds power and inactivity early could cost him.

Yes Hagler was great but let's see who beat him (after the early stages of his career)... A fleet footed guy who could box him, coming off 3 years of retirement too. It was controversial, I had Leonard. So this doesn't really refute my point.
