Agree, except that part. Fury got touched several times in the rematch and didnt flinch while Stiverne got hit clean a plenty in their first bout and didnt go down. Duhaupas didnt either and he got hit flush a gang of times in that fight.haha exactly
I get that Wilder aint the most popular guy on here. I'm not exactly a bombsquad member myself. But this narrative of Wilder being an automatic win for anyone with a pulse is getting ridiculous now.
The man has a 94% KO rate. This idea that Wilder can only beat top guys by transforming into a Heavyweight Mayweather and masterfully outboxing his opponents is, was and will always be a fxcking lie.
All he has to do is successfully disguise/set up his right hand. Its that lethal. He has 12 whole rounds to figure out a way to let that cannon connect ONCE. Yall have any idea how insanely dangerous that is? If you dont stop the fight early, its quite literally a matter of time before you get dropped. No one is safe, you could get bodybagged any second. Writing off that type of power in any fight is the dumbest thing you could possibly do.
Wilder should never be written off I agree but that cannon is not 100% nuclear. There are times where he will need to connect more than once and we dont know if he'll be able to against Usyk . What we do know is that Usyk managed to not get KD by big HW punchers like Del Boy and AJ which is good evidence that hitting him flush is no easy task.
Also we know Wilder can get KO'd and we know Usyk does have some power at HW considering he nearly got AJ out. So as much as Wilder remains a threat throughout 12 rounds, Usyk might very well be able to KO him as well.
