see if ennis should be on this level right now..fighting on non televised spots on shobox :hhh:
because unlike Haney, Stevenson, Ortiz, Garcia, Lopez, Davis... so other top young US talents, he hasn't engaged himself with either big promoter/channel yet. He's fighting on Shobox but as far as I know he's not part of the PBC universe.
Soon he's gonna get signed to one of the major promoters imo (TR/Matchroom/PBC/GBP)

I usually think the “what have you done” excuse is bullshyt
But in the Loma vs Haney case it may be valid
What does Loma get from fighting a 20 yr old with a light resume!?
Might as well fight Gervonta for all that and get a ppv out of it

Sounds like “what have you done” can be said for the guy with only 15 fights in his pro career as well

what about his boxing? dude fights exactly like his father..thats the eerie thing to me
yeah he does. i liked watching his dad fight a lot. his dad was such a natural fighter. he did little stuff only he used to do. like a diagonal step back.

little stuff like that. thats the only guy you will see do that in a fight. hunter has some of that in him but i can tell he is still a little methodical and schematical. that usually goes away. it should. i noticed he likes circling to his right. that circles you away from the other guy's right hand but it circles you into his left hook. but if you keep him on the outside it will not be in range unless he leaps with it, so if its a big slow guy, like kuzmin was, all he does is follow you around the ring. thats all he can do. theres a lot of other guys hunter can do that to.

Guess he meant Lomachenko only having 15 fights doesn't mean a thing if 14 of those 15 were world title fights, often against good opponents.
11 of those 15 guys he fought were recognizable names to most boxing hardcores.
So that 15 is really just a number, don't be fooled by it, he's a guy with big experience already. It doesn't take anything away from his experience that he skipped the "fighting taxi drivers" phase. He started pretty late for a pro and he was fast tracked due to his amateur achievements. Arum took the gamble and basically treated him as a complete pro fighter when he signed him. It backfired with Salido but in long term his career didn't suffer from that, it was good experience.

Haney has the best chance of beating him imo, barring a move up to 140 and Haney will probably ony improve further.
