Damn, did he just quit?

He tried to keep a tight defense but Haney lit him up nevertheless, impressive work.

I respect and understand why somebody could think Hunter could win. I actually rate Hunter, I think he's very good, he may not be able to beat the very elite at heavyweight but I do think he's talented. Would you say Hunter is a pressure fighter though? I'd say he's more of a boxer with movement and speed, he has a decent punch but not compared to a AJ or Wilder. I agree he lost the first fight vs Chisora, 2nd fight Chisora was winning too until the ref started fukking with him, was a very heavy knockout though, not easy to knock Chisora cold like that, I think it's the first time he's been knocked down in that manner, closest was Haye but he got up from that, Whyte really K.O'd him to the point where he couldn't get up at all for a while. Whyte does have that 1 punch but it's a killer 1 and very effective, if he catches any heavyweight with that it will hurt them. He's also pretty tough and improved as a boxer. I was impressed with his performance vs Rivas overall, dominated apart from that 1 mistake he made. He boxed Parker very well too, again apart from that mistake he made at the end. It's whether he can cut out those mistakes and improve, it's true that he's flawed but he's also improved and has positive attributes too. Vs Hunter I'd have to make Whyte favourite personally, just stylistically I think Whyte may be able to box that style, Usyk is different, would be a very interesting fight him vs Whyte. Lots of interesting fights to be made though.
I agree with everything you said, it’s also a reason I don’t think Hunter beats Parker or Uysk ever. It’s a bad matchup because of the speed. He’s a smart pressure fighter. He fights off the jab but he’s never really going off the back foot. Whyte has the punch that could end it all of course. That speed and the long jab would trouble Whyte to me. He hasn’t fought somebody that fast and consistent in a while but it’s a dope fight I can see happening next year if he gets past Povetkin.

I won't say Loma will duck cause he's the kind of dude who relishes in challenges but Haney seems like the truth and if Loma really drops back to 130 after getting undisputed then maybe they will never meet. I hope Haney gets to be a champion soon either at 135 or 140, his upside is crazy. Him and Shakur seem to be the best US prospects (or just prospects, period) out now. Haney doesn't get into fukkery outside the ring like Stevenson though which is good.
