No, it was not. I will say a lot of the matches were good, but the only truly noteworthy match was Omega vs Pentagon. Main event would have been great too if they could have had the time they needed. Seems like Okada's sleep walking and Tiger Hattori not being able to take backstage directions fukked them up.

Purely of impact Cody winning the NWA Championship was the moment of the night though, even if the match itself was lackluster.
I slept through most of that takeover, after moustache mountain vs undisputed era the show was pretty ho hum till ciampa and gargano came on. Ricochet vs Adam cole was good but i missed most of that match on account of ec3 vs dream being the worst match on the card.

I only sporadically watch wrestling nowadays, so I'm not familiar with half of the dudes on this card. I just watched the first match and I'm linking MJF. I like the variation of the armbar that he uses and that dive fakeout "I don't have to flip to get over." I didn't know Matt Cross still wrestled. I remember first seeing him on that Wrestling Society X fed tagging with Teddy Hart way back. I thought his finisher was the Shooting Star Legdrop.

I'm going to slowly digest this show watching 1 or 2 matches a day.

I notice that Marty wasn't out for the post-show speech, but every other member of the Bullet Club on the card was, including family members.

:mjlol:

Marty got the :camby: for ruining the main event :mjlol:

The impact of Lucha Underground in the pro wrestling world is incredibly underrated and ignored way too much. Look at this list of achievements:

Pushed Ricochet as its top face and developed his non-existent character work.
Revitalized the career of John Morrison.
Revived the career of Rey Mysterio Jr.
Turned Judas Mesias from TNA into one of the most legit monsters in wrestling today.
Popularized the likes of Fenix, Pentagon, Drago and Aerostar in the US (with Pentagon now being one of the top stars in the world).
Popularized tons of indie talent such as Willie Mack, Bryan Cage and Matt Cross.
Made inter-gender matches work.
Made Vampiro and Konnan relevant again (maybe too relevant since they'll be facing each other in the ring once more).
Gave Chavo Guerrero (arguably) the best match of his career.

And almost all the above was achieved by only two things: Great booking, and great wrestling!

Nothing but facts here

Except for the Rey Mysterio part. Mexican supplements and indie dream matches had already revitalized his career before he went to LU. Arguably that's WHY he went to LU in the first place.

Idk how you could be a wrestler for as long as both of them have and not realize you've gone DOUBLE as long as you were supposed to.

Just started watching MLW and and like MJF as well. Whomever said he's what EC3 should be is right.
