Cero Miedo means Zero Fear. It's pronounced se-row me-eh-dough, so you don't botch it.
I can understand going a couple minutes over, but how in the world do you go that much over the allotted time?
After tonight what do y’all think the impact of this ppv will be I’m already on record of saying that 2019 will be the start of another golden era of wrestling
When it comes to accents you need to hear it to pronounce it correctly. If you say it like that you gonna sound like a fukking gringo
I think they might have a future independent Beardamania/Smarkamania, on their hands. I'm assuming that the companies (ROH, Impact, NJPW, etc.) wanted to see how this event turned out, but given the universal praise for the show overall, you might see the non-WWE promotions collaborate to make the event even bigger next year. Hopefully next year they won't have issues with rushing matches because one went 12 minutes over (the Page/Janela match went over but at least it din't seem to drag). The timing of the event seemed to be perfect as well; lets people in attendance enjoy themselves and not have to worry about rushing back to work the next day.
Only problem I can see for future years would be WWE's pettiness and them possibly piggybacking off the event with something catered to that crowd. I was shocked they didn't try countering the event after it was announced they sold 10k tickets in half an hour, and with the praise a non-WWE PPV with over 10k fans received, I doubt Vince and company would try to let that slide again.
Solid event, definitely didn't bother to dial down the indie vibes. Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing I'll leave up to you.
One thing I do want to comment on is how they keep low-balling Lucha Underground. I know it's a unique and almost separate entity in pro wrestling but for nobody to acknowledge how Pentagon and Fenix became made men in that promotion is disgusting. Outside of a half-second mention that Pentagon has won the LU title, they beat the bush around its existence completely. You'd think they could at least work in some line about coming up around the area of Boyle Heights or something.
if they do it once a year, i mean i guess they can do one big show a year. But if anybody thinks they something like one big show a quarter.... People are being really careful not to shyt on this. The show wasn't miles and leagues ahead of WWE, it was simply an alternative. I mean a bunch of dikks walked out. No match left me on some wow shyt. Let's see how people respond to this stuff when they have to do it just as it's own show, and not on some "fukk WWE" shyt. People are saying "they proved they could do it" but people aren't trying to really rate the show because it was still basically the best INDY show we've seen in a while. After tonight what do y’all think the impact of this ppv will be I’m already on record of saying that 2019 will be the start of another golden era of wrestling
