I can understand going a couple minutes over, but how in the world do you go that much over the allotted time?

Specially because the first 10 minutes were aimless. Okada was there fukking around doing nothing and just wasting time :pachaha:

After tonight what do y’all think the impact of this ppv will be I’m already on record of saying that 2019 will be the start of another golden era of wrestling

I think they might have a future independent Beardamania/Smarkamania, on their hands. I'm assuming that the companies (ROH, Impact, NJPW, etc.) wanted to see how this event turned out, but given the universal praise for the show overall, you might see the non-WWE promotions collaborate to make the event even bigger next year. Hopefully next year they won't have issues with rushing matches because one went 12 minutes over (the Page/Janela match went over but at least it din't seem to drag). The timing of the event seemed to be perfect as well; lets people in attendance enjoy themselves and not have to worry about rushing back to work the next day.

Only problem I can see for future years would be WWE's pettiness and them possibly piggybacking off the event with something catered to that crowd. I was shocked they didn't try countering the event after it was announced they sold 10k tickets in half an hour, and with the praise a non-WWE PPV with over 10k fans received, I doubt Vince and company would try to let that slide again.

I kinda think they will be alright..... I mean at this point what could the E do to HURT this crowd or event other that putting a bounty out and saying

"Anyone who signs with us we are guaranteeing yall $2-6 Mill a year"

Like if ALL 2 is another steller card.

I think to really fukk with this they have to create a card like Brock vs DB, Ricochet vs Joe, Velveteen Dream vs Cena, Bullet Club (AJ, Finn, Gallows and Karl) vs The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, RStrong, ORielly, and B Fish) Ronda vs Bayley vs Asuka vs Sasha (4 way), Shinsuke vs Matt Riddle, Keith Lee vs Ciampa,

Aint no one really trynna come and see no else on they roster like that over the once and a chance opportunity to see some of the newest hottest up and coming guys from all over who make rare appearances in the country work.

Solid event, definitely didn't bother to dial down the indie vibes. Whether that's a good thing or a bad thing I'll leave up to you.

One thing I do want to comment on is how they keep low-balling Lucha Underground. I know it's a unique and almost separate entity in pro wrestling but for nobody to acknowledge how Pentagon and Fenix became made men in that promotion is disgusting. Outside of a half-second mention that Pentagon has won the LU title, they beat the bush around its existence completely. You'd think they could at least work in some line about coming up around the area of Boyle Heights or something.

I noticed that too and I was gonna ask does anyone know about how the industry feels about or views LU.

I been people how no one ever acknowledges that no matter what place.

NXT never acknowledges Ricochett from there (thow I kinda understand that)

But Matt Cross (Son of Havoc)
Cage, Fenix, Pentagon.... this is REALLY how they hit the main stream and got a bigger name over the last 2 years. Cuz no one was really talking about them at the level we are now till LU and its crazy how they never get the proper shine or credit.

Just kinda weird

if they do it once a year, i mean i guess they can do one big show a year. But if anybody thinks they something like one big show a quarter...:mjlol:. People are being really careful not to shyt on this. The show wasn't miles and leagues ahead of WWE, it was simply an alternative. I mean a bunch of dikks walked out. :gucci: No match left me on some wow shyt. Let's see how people respond to this stuff when they have to do it just as it's own show, and not on some "fukk WWE" shyt. People are saying "they proved they could do it" but people aren't trying to really rate the show because it was still basically the best INDY show we've seen in a while.

This was like one of those wacky WM weekend shows but with an actual professional crew and budget. It was also like WM in that it went on forever and the matches weren't particularly special or memorable. Some neat moments, but the matches were mostly :yeshrug:. Cody/Magnus in particular was not good at all, but it was neat seeing Cody book himself to win his dad's title. There was I would say excessive amounts of fukkery for my tastes, but :yeshrug:That's fine for one match, but pretty much everything until the last 3 matches had one or multiple big wink wink lol we're all in on this shyt spots. The last 3 matches were pretty good, though. I've definitely come to appreciate unrestrained flippy nonsense. I can't help but think most of these matches would have been better in their home promotions, but the production was good, it was a big victory for Cody and the Bucks and the industry as a whole to be healthy enough to support a show like this.

fukking died at GLACIER being one of Cody's cornermen though :mjlol:

Also some of those piledrivers in Kenny/Penta wtf. You could hear Kenny's head bounce off the apron, and then Kenny didn't protect Penta at all on his follow up to it. Dumped him right on his head. :picard:
