I was reading the PW Torch results for the show, and apparently that Matt Cross vs. MJF joint that opened the show was an unannounced bonus jawn (sorry if this was mentioned earlier in the thread). The Jamel's/Hangman match was supposed to open. Hell, if that's really the case they shouldn't have f'ed the card and maybe the ME would've went as long as originally scheduled.

True that. I made like $250 off tickets. Could've made more but started lowering the second set since they hadn't sold.

Prices finally dropped later in the night. Got one for $32. Way better than that price. This place called Main Event Entertainment center done saved our lives. I recommend it and looks like they got locations all over the country. Was so happy they existed I gave them a five star review for no reason. :wow:

Was gonna tell you to walk the mile or so to get there for the lowered rate. They do the same for Lolla and games.

After tonight what do y’all think the impact of this ppv will be I’m already on record of saying that 2019 will be the start of another golden era of wrestling
I think it changes things and gives more competition and exposure to other brands. I myself didn't know much of the people on here other than the LU people and the main event caliber stars. So it was good to see people I hadn't heard of and check them out in the future. WWE makes money but is in a down period in my opinion. Their product has gotten stale and fans want more. There were lots of hardcore fans there. Ones that follow the indies religiously. I guess it depends on the location cuz seems like Chicago is hardcore into independent wrestling. As well as other places where it's popular. I know in Miami there's independent wrestling but it doesn't seem like it's as popular or talked about like the "mark filled cities". I think this shows that something like this can be done. It's cool that new Japan and ring of honor have this partnership, and I guess tna is involved since Pentagon was there. But I'm guessing those promotions let wrestlers book events outside the company. Who knows.

What would be awesome would be a wwe vs the world ppv. Like a joint ppv with awesome matches like Kenny vs aj, young bucks and ibushi vs the new day, the shield vs scu (who apparently were one of the most over last night, even tho I had no idea who they are other than hearing about Christopher Daniels), and whatever else they can come up with. But of course it's all a business and Vince just sees the dollars. I will say that their ratings will continue to decline and who knows what will happen. But the future looks bright for pro wrestling. Let's see what they do with it.

Even from there the rates were high. Uber was like we fukking everyone within a two mile area with no lube. Lyft too.

:why: If you're interested there's an stacked independent show in the south burbs that's supposed to be Mysterio's last show before going back to WWE.

Yeah some chick we shared an uber with to the event was talking about it. We thought about it but my boy wants to explore the city and check out things like Wrigley Field and Millennium Park. He's never been here so he wants to see the city. Eat some pizza, sausages, and hot dogs too. Do all the tourist stuff.
