These PC stans know nothing about closed systems
SMH@ thinking a PC with similar specs would even be 1/2 as efficient
PC stans? There's nothing to stan, there is no brand to back loyally. If anything PC owners are the most willing to change and adopt new shyt, most of the people in the PC Gaming thread were impressed and seem like they will be getting one.
And who said anything about a PC with similar specs?
it will be 3-4 years before PC games become affordable to achieve PS4 quality at the same price
Recording the last 15 minutes of gameplay should eat a chunk.
They were smart to go with 8gigs of DDR5, and from the sounds of it MS won't be able to match it since they already had 1 major system revision.
That could mean a huge gap between PS4 1st party games and 720 games, especially if the OS in the 720 is as bloated as the rumors say.
wait if its 8GB of GGDR5 RAM how much is this shyt gonna cost?

for a PC to achieve the same performance of the PS4 it would have to have much better specs
What would the Equivalent amount of DDR3 ram be? like 16 or some shyt

cosign.
The only thing it would need is more ram, this new system is much more in line with PC architecture than anything we've had before. The 360 was close, but was still PowerPC based, this bytch is x86. You talking about 3-4 years? madness.
I i'm guessing their next system is just gonna be low power and cheap, with some motion centric gimmicks. They might copy sony and try for a social gaming angle, but IMO they wanna keep this blue ocean strategy rolling they have going with Kinect. shyt's gonna suck probably, butYeah, and the last I rumor I read MS was reserving like 3gigs of ram for OS/Security/apps
