I'm hating a little bit but did 8Ball + MJG have anything that was as big as Big Pimpin + Playaz Anthem???

3-6 produced both of their anthems



iono bout the east coast strip clubs

Big pimpin did nothing for ugk

Album sales didn’t boost dirty money took forever to hit gold and that was after pimp died

They didn’t get paid or get a plaque

So they had to settle for Jermaine Dupri

Ball n g didn’t have those east coast issues

Didn't come up listening to either group, BUT people I knew from other regions would speak about them the way we speak of Kool G Rap.

Only two songs featuring Bun that ever really got airplay up here was Big Pimpin' and The Shaq Record 'You Can't Stop The Rain"....Bun's flow was impeccable .

Even Scarface who is loved and respected up here, didn't get airplay outside of his big singles. Speaking of Scarface....when Big Mike was part of the Geto Boys, I thought the chemistry between them was dope. Face used to ragdoll Willie D on songs, so it was cool to hear Scarface rapping with another good rapper.

Stay Fly got airplay...and Eightball and MJG did their thing.

me and my homies make this comparison all the time. i go back and forth. honestly i cant really call it. i prob lean more towards ugk but i feel like ball and g are soooooo slept on. 8ball is one of the most underrated rappers of all time and mjg complimented him perfectly.
