I agree to a certain extent. After they left Suave House it was down hill. None of those projects after were as good as UGK. Even their solos got wack once they start messing with Puffy. Ugk have way more listenable albums outside of Buns solos. Bun a better rapper than both them for the last decade plus.

Nah after livin legend they fell off

Their solos were better than pimps compilations n buns

They showed ugk fans they were superior on ugk feats ..

Every album to livin legend has replay value n don’t sound too dated

UGK for me easily and I love Ball and G but they stalled out after a while when it came to albums. Those Bad Boy albums were not good. I love 8Ball's Lost album and is a personal classic (by the Bun smoked 8Ball on Ball N Bun) and MJG's No More Glory. But I'm admitting to being biased for UGK being from Houston. They have too many anthems not to mention their collabos with other artists. Still bang the OG Trill Azz Mixez.

Their first solos were better than ugk solos but after their very first solo efforts ugk was way better. Pimp said he never had a real solo. Pimpalation was a compilation and the rest were put together when in jail or dead. I don't listen to anything from ball and g outside of Suave House. That let me know they're inferior.

All them Albums they dropped were trash.

Ball and G ate Outkast on a track , Dre3000 went last but the song was already eaten by then.





They were the only southern hip-hop duo to get love from NY (Busta,Puff,Mase,Foxy, Meth,etc)

I think UGK has the better discography and made more impact, but I'll also add that in no way do I slight 8ball and MJG they are an incredibly gifted team and I enjoy their stuff just as much and deserve what ever accolades and props they get and I think they among the most consistent spitters of any region with the production to match.
