You're trying to steer this towards some anti-Red Pill, Game vs. No-Game thing and that's not really what Wallo was talking about. He was talking about the glorification in the Hood of the criminal underworld class. That's very separate from where you seem to want this post to go.
Also, Wallo specifically mentioned the 80s. He's 45, same as me. We were elementary school age in the 80s, so that's before issues of specifically talking to girls comes into play. He's not boo-hooing about girls not liking him (I don't get the impression he has that problem). He's talking about how in North Philly, where he's from, in those days those were the guys to emulate for alot of boys and young men, regardless of if you had game or not or were ugly or whatever you're talking about.

I don't know where you get that from. Nobody is saying that anyone (including women) should have no physical preferences. The problems come in when they place swag and physical preferences above character and integrity then when they hit 35-40 start complaining about not being able to find a stable relationship. I would honestly say a bigger problem is the pursuit of swag over looks. Assuming he never blew up as a rapper, if Future had an identical twin separated at birth who was adopted by a wealthy family and went to $50K/year boarding schools and ended up with a personality like Grant Hill while the hood Future we know ended up as a personal trainer or barber, the hood Future would pull more Black women between the ages of 17-30.

Respectfully, I think some of us are being a tad bit too high minded and idealistic and unrealistic. Most men are gonna strive to be what women want. Sure you should have the confidence to stand on your own two and be you regardless. That sounds wonderful and is something to aspire to but is it realistic for most people. The majority of people in any community are followers. Children are programmed to recieve whatever info they are fed. So if BS runs rampant in a community you are gonna raise children that follow and perpetuate the BS.
That said, what women gravitate towards a reflection of society. They value social standing. So who women choose is moreso a symptom of a larger issue than the cause.
White folks love their criminals too. You think Gotti and his dudes didnt have hoes? You think Mrs. Romano and Mrs. Polinski werent waving at the gansters when they pulled up? Same qualities that make you succesful in the street make you successful in the legit world...gift of gab, determination, fearlessness, cunning, connections, psychopathology. Difference is white folks have always had plenty of legit options as well while we have been denied those same options.

No I purposely brought up Future having an identical twin with Grant Hill's personality. In that scenario they both have the same looks. The hood future would attract more young BW off the rip because of his swag. Again, we're talking about BW in America between the ages of 17-30 which is who Wallo is talking about. And to note Tamia is Black Canadian. Black women from outside of America by and large prioritize swag and looks less.

When the drugs hit LA in the 80s and nikkas was able to get that beamer, lex and benz , with the latest clothes, jewelry, rings and watches and that gun on the side,,, those young girls and even some older women was impressed by that and legs started to fly open, meanwhile ace and every other regular man was coming home from auto plants, manufacturing jobs, retail/fast food job getting disrespected and even laughed at for just bringing in a enough unless they had the one real black woman next to them…
Even today, even when a lot of these women have good jobs and careers a lot of them still want that Ghost out in the streets type of dude, with 4 or 5 different jobs…
