So now people are pretending the enjoy Miz matches more than Bryan matches... yikes... Wrestling is entertainment and an art form. Bryan likes to do different things in the ring and test himself. It's not all "dangerous" either.

But this was a great promo from The Miz I remember it like it was yesterday, RAW and SD! were both energized after that draft and they put out some compelling TV and other content...

Not sure what happened. The product got really shytty again in like 2018-ish... or whatever

Yall nikkas watch a couple of Kevin Nash shoot interviews and now pretend like you understand the business.

Nash wasn't quite right about the "money and the miles" thing because the reason HitGOAT became a millionaire is because of his ability in the ring. As a babyface, he was pretty cookie cutter as a promo. Not really great. As a heel, he was always a great promo but he didn't really get to cook much as a singles wrestler as a heel until '97

His in-ring prowess led to him being in the intercontinental title scene and he got super over at that point.... then he became a big draw in Europe as they showed in a video package the other night when they were advertising 'Bash in Berlin'

What does "you wrestle like a coward" even mean?

Bryan feels he doesn't give his all in the ring like he does and wrestles the "safe" way. He'll just do as told, collect a check and leave.

Miz took it personally because he doesn't have the "Only thing is Real is Miles and Money mindset" like Kevin Nash.. His whole life is wanting to be the best in the WWE and He felt disrespected being that he was bullied, had to eat shyt and be disrespected, and literally work the hardway up the ranks despite his style. Bryans comments is similar tomany of the gripes many of Miz's peers had(CM Punk). So it went personal fast.

WWE messed up by not making this a wrestlemania feud based off this segment. Who cares how the actual match wouldve went. This was the realest shyt since kumbaya and as soon as DBry got cleared the match match I thought of was him VS Miz at WM. This goes in the annals of time with Stone Cold VS Gold Berg, Taker VS Sting. And I'm pretty sure they did fight on a random Smackdown but there was nothing to it

Moment is way overrated because Danielson, a non-wrestling retired onscreen character - realized he was burying someone with no way to pay it off and let him get his heat back.

Why hasn't anyone ever realized the best promo of his career was one where someone wasn't fighting back :pachaha:

Bryan couldn't fight back. There was nothing he could've said at all. MIZ COOKED HIM with 100% facts

Miz's ethering of Danielson and Mark Henry's fake retirement swerve are my favorite segments from this era. Fans were so fed up with the sterile overproduced garbage they'd been fed for so long that anything halfway spontaneous or organic would almost always get over.

:salute: to Miz for proving smug indy-minded neckbeards like Danielson wrong and becoming an important utility talent for the company.

That's the thing though, they weren't 100% facts. By that point Bryan had asked for his release multiple times He had clearence from multiple doctors and he just wanted to go back in the ring, but Vince denied his requests :heh:

Koalabama and the Cosmos
Peak franchise was dope

unfortunately that was (like a LOT of "ecw era" greatness) like 3 years only

Listening to The Lapsed Fan kinda made me realized that Shane was basically MJF with extra cusswords:

  • Have gimmicks that never stick
  • Ride a gimmick that will never get over
  • Stole a gimmick despite shyt talking the gimmick holder
  • "CUT THE fukkIN MUSIC, fukk fukk fukkITY fukk fukk"
  • Doing the most and will never get over
94/95 Shane was basically a job resume for the WWF, while 96/98 Shane was a job resume for WCW.
