Ward vs Kovalev is shaping up as a huge disappointment. And I love watching Ward.

I feel like he should have had a big fight at light heavyweight as opposed to all these damn tuneups.

If you had it my way, Pascal would have skipped the 2nd Kovalev fight & I would have made Ward-Pascal. It would have a big fight atmosphere. You could gauge Ward at 175 better. He woulda made more money. He most likely would have won, but he would actually be pushed.

That's exactly what I'm saying that's a much more sellable fight. Yes it could have been a challenge and maybe Jean was a little washed up but it would have gave Ward at that weight class with a credible opponent. Then Cleverly or Fonfara.

What's even more ridiculous is they're making this fight with two dudes who the average person doesn't know(especially Sergey)....HBO completely took the air out of a die-hard can't miss matchup...no buzz and worst two personalities to promote it. At least Cotto Canelo ( two quiet guys too) had a Mexican/PR angle with two proven names.

They better fix what's went wrong and quick cause this is ....I don't even know what it is but it's
