Omega might be washed? :lupe:

he seems to have lost some of the explosiveness in his movements and was going thru the motions in the aew stuff i've seen of him. 2016-2018 Omega at his best imo, from doing mat based stuff w Zack Sabre, to strong style shyt w Ishii, fukkery matches w Yano, flippy shyt or storytelling shyt w Ibushi/Okada. The decline I think started w the Tanahashi match at WK imo im not saying he is washed but he doesn't seem motivated to me.

what do you think @Jmare007 @Cobratron

I mentioned either here before or in another AEW thread, I think he is happiest in Japan and got roped into this by his friends and is already stressed out by being a VP. He's said it's a tougher position than he thought it would be. I predict he'll get out of his 4 year contract early and run back to NJPW full-time. Kenny isn't built for a U.S.-based weekly rasslin show/company, IMO, and that's fine because he's amazing in New Japan.

But to be fair, how many matches has he had since WK? Five? Six? He's gonna be a step behind until he wrestles more frequently, and a bunch of six man tags and 50 year old CIMA and 50 year old Jericho aren't going to bring out his best anyway. I'm hoping PAC will light a fire under him, but I really do think his heart with always be in Japan (no Kota) and that his work in AEW will be affected by it. Hope I'm wrong though.

Facts...Think about this if kenny omega is the best wrestler in the world why did it take him 25 mins to beat cima who couldnt draw a yen in the business

That’s not really fair to do that.

I think it’s cool to let guys go out there and put in work and work good competitive matches.

I’m so done with the boring forced quick squash matches that you get from the E.

Then they wonder down the line when they try to give said former squashed wrestler (who the played as a joke) a push, “why ain’t the crowd getting behind him?”

Bobby Lashley should be one of the top 5 main eventers but they play him as a joke and instead only wanted to treat garbage cats like Braun and Lars as monsters

You can’t sit here and claim “you have the best talent in the world” but then only really give like 4 guys shine and everyone else gets 50/50 booked or squashed into damaged goods

Apparently Fenix broke his leg at an event and had to be carried to the back :mjcry:

A 50 year old Jericho brought out the best of him at WK. But yeah, the Cima match was ass. Literally fell asleep during it.

His AEW deal allows him to work new japan whenever he wants, and he’s probably done working full time at this point. He chose creative freedom over WWE’s money so he won’t be going anywhere
