Omega vs Pac was very good
Lucha Bros vs Young bucks was Wild as fukk
The triple threat was savage as fukk
I enjoyed it thoroughly

Tbh you can see the influence of being in the main promotions on Cody’s match build ups and ring psychology . It definitely helps make his match stand out when you got dummies like Darby Allin ( who I like but come on ) making themselves lose. Was busy so missed some of this, catching up now. On last match, Young Bucks match was pretty hard and the Cody match was really dope, just really right length, didn’t overstay it’s welcome. Had some cool moments and was intense.
what dog?
You think BJW is that bad? Only thing I disliked from the show was the production and camera work. Everything else was decent. Not great, but decent.4 shows in a row that under delivered. AEW ain't the saviors, brehs. There is nothing they do better than NXT or NJ besides stupid hardcore shyt that serves no purpose storyline or title wise, just pure stunt show fukkery to shorten careers. There's some real potential for TV to be as bad or worse than Raw based on how almost no one in that company can even do the sit down interviews with editing and post production with any competency. You've got Cody and Dustin, Jericho, and MJF, everyone else is just terrible at speaking. Creative wise for storylines and angles, they've done "mystery man in mask attacks after a match" 3 times on 4 shows, plus another 2 or 3 post-match run in without a mask. There are still no real storylines, just X wins and Y wins so they face each other stuff.
They did at least improve the production a bit. Goldenboy >>>>>>> Marvez, and there wasn't a situation where the announcers were confused and left holding their dikks not knowing what they were throwing it to. The arena looked more like a modern boxing event instead of a 2002 WWE event. at how hard they went with the branding. The ring had ALL OUT in each corner of the match, all 12 turn buckle pads, and every section of every guardrail.
The ladder match had some absolutely disgusting bumps from the Bucks, but that the match was a ladder match at all is more evidence they're treating this like live action EWR. Same with the death match shyt they've had with no story or build to it, just having it to have it because it sounds cool. 4 shows, 3 Bucks/Lucha Bros matches for no other reason than they're the only tag teams people care about, 1 of those matches being a ladder match already. Darby goes from that draw with Cody that seemed like it was supposed to be some kind of star making moment for him and instead he's just thrown in the shytpile with the other low card shindie death match dudes. The guy who took the guy in the main event to the absolute limit on the last show? Not even mentioned once. The randomness of the joshi match being an automatic number one contender match while the other women had to be in a battle royale. Also the laziness of doing the exact same booking for the first women's champ as they did the first men's champ.
Jericho/Page was more boring than I could have possibly imagined. The longest 25 minutes in wrestling history. WHY DO PEOPLE KEEP LETTING JERICHO DO 25 MINUTE MATCHES Why the fukk was Kenny/Pac almost 25 minutes and the only memorable moments were when each of them got luck not to break ankles on the guardrail? Why the fukk did Cody do that corny shyt with HHH's throne and then go on to have full blown HHH melodramas?
There is nothing AEW is providing that isn't done better elsewhere. Straight sports style wrestling: NJPW. Athletic spot based super indie: NXT. Garbage wrestling: BJW, GGW. General sports entertainment: An argument can be made that WWE is doing it better than AEW at the moment, the last few PPVs have been better than the AEW events, TV is said to be better. Even their backstage stuff looks to be aping what TNA has been doing and what TNA had aped from Lucha Underground. The update center is a play off of 80s/90s wrestling and MLW was doing for the past 2 years WITH Tony Schiavone no less.

Takeover Toronto was a let down but was better than this show. And Takeover 25 was MUCH better than Fyter Fest. NXT as a brand even on a downswing is more coherent and quality than what AEW has proven to be so far.You cited NXT knowing full well that this show was better than Takeover Toronto? @stro
now if you had said NXT UK i might agree. NXT has been on a downturn...
