It would make the show unpredictable from jump - maybe add a little intrigue to All Out too, but I'd be really surprised if they do.
Omega's the champion in three different companies - there's a bigger rub in one of Impact's guys beating him than Christian.
Also - unless Impact have a taping coming up soon, isn't the ending kind of telegraphed?

Don't think anyone has brought this up yet, but I have a feeling he might drop the Impact title tonight to Christian (via fukkery) given after Rampage he has to fly from Pittsburgh to Mexico City for his AAA title defense against Andrande tomorrow night. Obviously wouldn't have to wrestle at the tapings, but it would be grueling to go from Pittsburgh to Mexico City to Nashville within 36-48 hours. Not to mention that it would build better for All Out (maybe a title vs title match at All Out) if Christian got the upper hand at least once.

I can see it. It does kind of make herbs out of all the Impact talent who were talking about locker-room pride, if someone from another company has to win the title back for them - even if he was a part of TNA in the past.
