We know what's gonna happen in the postseason though. They'll beat up on a 7/8 seed in Round 1, then in the Semis a team with pedigree like the Bucks/Heat/Celtics send them home despite being on top of the East regular season-wise.
If Ben hasn't improved by now he won't which means his value doesn't raise midseason. Another team would have to be desperate to unload whatever player midseason for their to be a difference in what the Sixers get.
I never said that he would be all the season next year? I said don't rush and take your time to see if you can find the best deal possible that suits the organization and their aspirations. If that means keeping him until the trade deadline next year then so be it
That same Brogdon deal will still be on the table as Indy isn't going anywhere as long as their core group of players are injury prone as they are.
