@Shadow King

The sooner you accept the fact that different people/ coaches / front office members value players differently than your personal opinions.. The better your basketball takes will be brother

Lol you're using Coli nikkas with no NBA credentials to tell me what Ben Simmons value is? :mjlol:

All this "incoherent babble" and you have no answer for it. It's only incoherent because you have no solution. What All-NBA guard is Ben commanding and what team that has him is giving him up?

I'm sure Morey who is much more qualified than any of y'all understands that one move to get rid of Simmons will not beat a healthy Nets the same as any other Eastern team. His team can't even beat the Hawks or the Heat let alone the Nets. Once again, the Nets are a bridge to be crossed later.
:sas2: I tried to tell him that when i bump the rockets trade harden to nets thread.. 76ers tried to fukk the rockets over
You can't be talking about me breh lol

If Morey valued Brogdon like that, then the deal would have already been done or got more traction than it currently has :comeon:

Just because Ben isn’t it in your opinion doesn’t mean that they should accept any deal offered as that’s how people get swindled on desperation. It’s not even the start of the off-season yet, so there’s no rush in doing anything.

For the record, you’ve had trash basketball takes on here as well.

Now that I think about it. I’m not mad at the 76ers for turning this one down. I think the Pacers could strengthen this deal.

Brogdon is injury prone albeit extremely efficient but I’ll be real. Joel every time he hits the ground makes me think he’s hurt…

that #10 pick is of value as they could likely use that pick for a salary controlled player but they are in win now mode so they could package it with a player or two and bring in an upgrade maybe a scoring threat or defensive specialist.

I’m positive that the pacers could improve on the offer.

the teams I think are the best fits for Ben and realistic right now are my Cavs, twolves, and Portland. And all 3 teams have something in common market wise. The blazers would probably be the best candidate.

The pick is #13 and not #10, which the Pelicans have.

The biggest problem with Brogdon is that his style is punishing on the body, which Philly already has that type of player on the roster with Embiid who style of play increases injury as well. The Pacers can't really improve the offer because the majority of their core players have injury issues themselves which would be counterproductive for a team (Philly) who has championship aspirations and can't afford to take on more injury prone players.

I always with Brooklyn that you would legit have some nights where both Kyrie and KD and Levert (before he got hurt) weren't on the floor at all and Philly would have that same situation with Embiid and Brogdon. It was a reason why Milwaukee didn't wanna match that offer for Brodgon and let him go to the Pacers.

I'm sure this for me. He does not have to take the first deal offered but y'all deluding yourselves with the level of player you think Ben will fetch after this exposal.

You think every front office risks "getting swindled" if they don't make a trade on equal accolades lol. All-Star for All-Star. All-NBA for All-NBA. MVP for MVP. Without recognizing that 85% of the time this isn't how it goes since it's a lateral move at best for both parties and that lately we've seen more unique situations that ever before. You did this shyt for theoretical Giannis trades last season. I asked you for solid deals on that and you couldn't answer then, I had to start making destinations for you.

My takes are trash to you because in this sub-topic I don't treat NBA trades like 2K where if the player the selling team gets back doesn't have the same overall rating or higher they should thumb their nose at it.

Regardless of how talented y'all think Ben Simmons is, his drive to maximize it doesn't match the Sixers goals and Daryl Morey's first priority should be to go get a player who's mentality and skillset does. Hopefully for him there is one available better than Brogdon but if not he'll have to bank on him being hurt in December and not April and May. Because y'all arguing me down the most have brought no other ideas up while saying I'm trash.

Nahhh it was actually directed towards @Left.A1 who quoted me in that comment. Not sure it was intentional or not.

I've stated many times in this thread and others why that Indy deal isn't good for Philly and the current problem with Philly's core in general. Brogdon is an efficient player, but he isn't going to move the needle for you like that. There's also the issue that he's an injury prone player, which is why Philly let him walk. If you already got one injury prone player, then why you bring in another one who isn't even as good as Simmons. They'd be better calling Portland for CJ than taking on Brogdon.

Indy's current problem is that their core group of players (although talented) are injury prone and have been for years. That's the exact reason why they were able to get a lot of them on the cheap cheap as they did.

Y'all seem to be on the same page on this topic which is why I didn't see how that's directed at him.

I don't see Portland taking Simmons unless Dame straight up demands out and Portland decides to totally start over. But after CJ I don't see much better coming. Everyone else is too good and/or doesn't make sense for the receiving team.

Lavine is a 29-5-5 player and will make the same money as Ben next year. Ben doesn't take Chicago to the playoffs.

Westbrook and Ben don't fit in any way shape or form.

Simmons for Sexton or Garland doesn't get Cleveland a playoff spot. Same for Simmons for Fox in Sacramento.

The Wolves make sense to me but if the Sixers supposedly don't want Brogdon why would they take D'Angelo?

Edit: And my bad for the other shyt you're generally respectful in these discussions.

:gucci: YOU'RE a “coli nikka” brother... Like what are you even talking about here...

I'm using the offer that was reportedly proposed by an NBA FRONT OFFICE and rejected by an NBA FRONT OFFICE to illuminate that you're “coli nikka” ass doesn't have a monopoly on what Simmons value is... Yet you still post this incoherent babble.. How is this possible?

Why would a coherent person have an answer for incoherent cable in the first damn place lol??

Why are you back to trolling when I already answered this question anyways??

Why are you rambling about an “allstar guard”?? when did I ever claim Simmons HAD to be traded for a guard in the first place lmao... Like where are you even getting this babble from brother

I'm sure Morey who is much more qualified...
Yes correct.. Morey is way more qualified than YOU the “coli nikka” Which is exactly why he allegedly didn't accept this trade that you're in here ranting and raving about :unimpressed:

I was included in the OG comment, so I thought it was directed at me as well.

The problem with Minnesota comes in that DLo is KAT bff, which is why they brought him to Minny in the first place and gave up the 1st round pick to do so. Not sure how KAT would feel about that especially considering him and Simmons just had beef a few years ago when KAT and Embiid got into it one game.

If they can't find the deal they want in the offseason, but I'd just bring him back next year and try again at the trade deadline. His value can't go any lower unless he completely regresses on defense and as a passer.

Their fate could have been avoided this season if they would have made the move for Lowry, although that likely would have required parting with Curry which I believe was the true stick up in the deal.

All that proves is that nobody here is any more qualified to dismiss my opinion because you agree with them.

There's nothing incoherent about what I'm saying. It's not worth answering but yet you keep quoting me bullshytting and dancing around it.

What team is giving up an All-NBA guard for Ben Simmons? You never answered this question because you can't and now you're moving goalposts further with "it doesn't have to be a guard" when there's no need for the Sixers to add a frontcourt player.

That NBA FRONT OFFICE will soon see the ceiling isn't much higher on offers if at all.

The thing is the 2 colleagues that matter most have already come out saying they can't achieve the goal with his dude. Do you run the risk of bad chemistry on top of not being any better?

You do what's best for the organization and its future. If it means keeping him to the trade deadline and seeing if he can improve his value before moving him, then yes. The only thing matters to Philly and Doc is what happens in the postseason.

If they move Simmons for just any deal and it flops, then there's going to be tension within the organization anyways about how the move failed.

We know what's gonna happen in the postseason though. They'll beat up on a 7/8 seed in Round 1, then in the Semis a team with pedigree like the Bucks/Heat/Celtics send them home despite being on top of the East regular season-wise.

If Ben hasn't improved by now he won't which means his value doesn't raise midseason. Another team would have to be desperate to unload whatever player midseason for their to be a difference in what the Sixers get.

Also had chemistry means they can have an underwhelming record which affects playoff home court. If they start the season 11-16 or something they'll wish they moved him earlier and would likely be the desperate team at that point.
