If this is your mentality about whats going on in Daryl Moreys front office...we don't have much to talk about lol... If what you're saying had absolute truth tBen would have already been traded for a bag a chips considering his current perception in “the media”

It doesnt happen in days it happens over weeks and months the seeds need to be planted first and then the ideas grows....and absolutely these Front offices watch and see what the media is pushing....the more that top media personalities on air push an idea the more it grows as acceptable in peoples minds....Ben Simmons is still loved by alot of media...hence these trade ideas for Superstars...its halfway praise because even talking about him in deal for Dame is still giving the idea a platform...

BY comparison Siakam was awful in the bubble last year and the same media wants Toronto to give him to GS for Hassan Wiseman and a draft pick....

My Pops Forever RIP
People keep forgetting this aspect. Dude wants to be a celebrity….he’s not going to Minnesota or Indiana.
Well either he needs to get his three point shot in order or he needs to seed up Maya Jama as soon as possible and the latter would be mandatory regardless of my ambitions.

While I agree that Simmons isn't fully to blame for the Sixers losing, the man has flat out shown no desire for helping his team win by improving his game. Add into the fact that the coach and star players are taking shots at him in the media, a volatile situation is brewing in Philly. If I'm Philly and if there is any truth about Dame wanting out of Portland, I'm on the phone with them right now:yeshrug:
NAH YOU MEAN CJ MCCOLLUM FOR SIMMONS IF YOURE BEING REALISTIC.

The head coach and the best player on the team have openly criticized Simmons, and made it clear they don’t believe they can win with him.

He has to go. Everyone knows that. They know this is probably one of the best possible offers they will get. They leak this, to see if anyone will try to beat it. If not, they can always call the pacers back.

1.Lmao @ the imagine of Daryl Morey sitting up in his office shuffling around trade offers based on what kind of feedback he’s seeing on his LCD from Max Kellerman latest rant being shown on first take :russ:

2. I think your perception of media influence on day to day organizational operations from these GM’s and Preseidents is wildly overstated... And that you should probably lay off the Twitter.... Most of the time these “media members” have no idea what trade is happening beforehand unless a player literally is using the media to demand a deal to happen... “The media” couldn't force D’Antoni to stop running that gimmick small ball lineup ... The “media” claimed that Kevin Durant was going to the lakers before he joining GSW... but yes I'm sure they are pulling the strings on superstar trades happening lol... Like I said... Some shyt I read on here is so ridiculous I just can't take it seriously :mjlol:

Which is ok Philly is one of the best defensive teams in the league they need a bucket at the guard positions.

The only other trade that could make come sense is to see if Timberwolves would give up D'Angelo Russell and some pieces to match salary.
Good point :ehh:

He could be a "#2" on a team with an elite star and high level role players and debt.

Look at the Hawks.

Atlanta is the exception and not the norm considering that they don't have a max player on their roster (right now) and can afford to have the depth that they do. It's not going to be the case in the next 2-3 years once Young's contract kicks in and money starts getting tight.

Those assets are going to have to be consolidated, which will mean that they will actually need to find a true #2 option and it's not currently on their roster.
