I think is weighing the South more than others in its calculations. Anyway, I thin it would be :russ: to see Obama win th electoral college and Romney with a popular win.

CACs heads would explode.

That would be great

The electoral college is so wrong... That may be what we need to end it

I'm still trying to figure out what the hell Romney did to suddenly become more popular, is this a case of people looking for any reason to jump off Obama and support another candidate?
1st debate undid everything the Dems were trying to present Romney as.

The uniformed were given an alternative that night instead of the uncaring out of touch rich guy.

It'l interesting to hear what all the right-wingers who said Al Gore's popular vote win was irrelevant and Dems need to stop whining in 2000 say now if that happens. I'm all for abolishing the electoral college anyway. It's an antiquated undemocratic system. I hope Romney wins the popular vote by about 2% and loses the electoral vote by about 50. Then Obama gives his re-election speech in front of a mural of this picture. :umad:

VA is Coal country, and Obama is very unpopular in Coal Country, while the FL polls have had Romney ahead for some time.

VA can go either way. I tend to think it still leans blue because of the rising NOVA population. Romney could definitely win though. We'll see.

i live in one of the more CAC-tastic areas of NOVA, and I've been seeing more obama signs than romney signs :ld:

no disrespect, but I don't acknowledge VA west of the richmond metro area. most of the people in the state live east of that area, and there are 1 million + folks in NOVA by itself. I think it'll be close tho

Yeah I was born and raised in the Hampton Roads/Tidewater area and everything west of Richmond is like another planet to me. Beautiful scenery though. Those blue mountains. :ahh:

nah i dont think its fair to blame the obama campaign. they did their part for this president. obama went in the first debate and basically didn't care. if he loses, it'll be because of that first debate and this will be talked about for decades to come. just like how jim carter is talked about so negatively by many, even after 30+ years of him being president.

for obama to basically lead all through out the year and then have things turn this way with 2 weeks to go. thats sad as sh1t.
