I've always had Crawford and I'm sticking to it....even though his defense hasn't looked great in his last two fights. I think both guys are gonna come out more hesitant than we're used to seeing. It's gonna be a beautiful high paced chessmatch. But eventually buds superior hand and footspeed will be the difference.
There's a reason Errol saved bud for last, and by his own admission took the easier road by facing everybody else first. and that was when bud was still at 140. Even back then Spence knew bud would be the toughest test of his career. This will be the first time Spence has faced a truly dangerous counter puncher who can hurt him with one shot. A guy who is quicker and sharper in close range. Spence is gonna have to be extremely disciplined and keep bud at a distance. Cause if he gets reckless and allows bud to get in close he's gonna get caught. Nobody in the sport is more deadly than bud at close range.
But it won't be a domination either way. This is as close to a 50-50 fight as we'll ever get. I expect a lot of momentum shifts, and I think both guys will be hurt at some point. But the better boxer will prevail. And that's bud.
