let me rephrase the question. what was it about mikey garcia, that errol spence felt he needed to box him to beat him, that terence crawford can not also do to him? would you find it fair to say that, should he feel like he will have to do that again, he will be able to out box terence crawford the same way he out boxed mikey garcia?
We'll see hoe Crawford handles a consistent southpaw jab...Ctawford has very good timing...should be a unique sight.

i think that just generally speaking if the fight goes the distance then the most likely outcome is that spence wins a decision, just because he is the busier fighter between the two. but i don't think it goes the distance.
Spence would have to leave on a stretcher to get knocked out. Crawford's chin is the real component in this fight.

to some canelo was starting to be perceived as unbeatable. that perception took a little while to wear off. for a long time it was the same way with lomachenko. they are very good fighters but i felt their ceilings were a little lower than their fan bases did. in the moment that sounds like hating. only after the fact it becomes sensible.
Spence doesn't really fall into that category as being seen as 'unbeatable'. If anything that is Crawford in this situation.

I've always had Crawford and I'm sticking to it....even though his defense hasn't looked great in his last two fights. I think both guys are gonna come out more hesitant than we're used to seeing. It's gonna be a beautiful high paced chessmatch. But eventually buds superior hand and footspeed will be the difference.

There's a reason Errol saved bud for last, and by his own admission took the easier road by facing everybody else first. and that was when bud was still at 140. Even back then Spence knew bud would be the toughest test of his career. This will be the first time Spence has faced a truly dangerous counter puncher who can hurt him with one shot. A guy who is quicker and sharper in close range. Spence is gonna have to be extremely disciplined and keep bud at a distance. Cause if he gets reckless and allows bud to get in close he's gonna get caught. Nobody in the sport is more deadly than bud at close range.

But it won't be a domination either way. This is as close to a 50-50 fight as we'll ever get. I expect a lot of momentum shifts, and I think both guys will be hurt at some point. But the better boxer will prevail. And that's bud.

Spence saved Bud for last because of shytty politics.

Bud was aiming for Pac and Pac choose Spence for a reason.

And that's why I think Spence's output will be lower. He has a guy in front of him that has power in both hands, switches stances, & is an elite counter puncher. It would be foolish to not take a more measured approach against a fighter like that. And the biggest thing I haven't seen anyone mention is Bud has some of the best punch placement in boxing; elite punch placement. The other fighters that I can think of offhand with similar if not more are Mell Charlo & Monster. They all know how to land their big shots, hurt you, & then finish you.
