I don't think there's ever been a fight, in my lifetime where people have been defensive one way or another.

But it really because the man that PEOPLE thought would win did not win. :yeshrug:
Mayweather vs Pacquiao aftermath was like this as well after Pacquiao came out with the shoulder injury excuse.

Nah... Mayweather/Pacquiao wasn't close to this because even us Manny fans knew he was gone lose.

There's a huge part of Spence fans that's in absolute disbelief.

Lol I hope you're kidding. That fight is still debated by Pacquiao fans. It for sure was very similar to what is happening now with the Spence fight being over.

I don't think the general public believed that Manny would win more than they believed Spence would win.

Spence and Wilder are this generation's Mayweather. Everybody knows who they are and expects them to win...

And when they loss, you could feel the air being sucked outta the room. Manny losing didn't have that same effect.

Fury/Wilder 2 was the last time I hosted a fight party and I remember people in MY HOUSE telling me that I wasn't a "real nikka" because I was riding with the sloppy white boy.

When they stopped that fight, it was nikkas that got up out of my house with the quickness because they knew I was gone be obnoxious as shyt. :pachaha:

As a Wilder fan I 100% concur. I was one of them watching Youtube videos that Tyson Fury had "egg weights" in his glove that caused a dent in Wilder's head

I'm ashamed of myself :pachaha: :laff::laff::laff:

Gerald Washington is as low tier and chicken shyt as they come.

I remember watching the Wilder/Washington fight and thinking "This nikka can't box because Washington ain't shyt".

So I thought Ortiz would be the first to do it because we all know Ortiz can just flat out box for a 75 year old geezer.

Despite his sloppy demeaner, Breazeale had put together a few decent moments, so I thought he had a small outside chance.

But I just knew Fury would beat him.

Facts. Personally I feel the 1st fight dictated how the rest of the trilogy would go

Once Wilder found out that Fury could actually TAKE his punch in the 1st fight, it destroyed his confidence going forward. Wilder should have never gained more weight like he did in Fight #2 and Fight #3, it actually made him worse. He was already limited as a fighter, now he was limited as a fighter and slower lol

Because, let's think critically here, Wilder and Spence both were undefeated and Manny wasn't. Manny had already lost several times before he met Mayweather. The public did think Manny had a chance and when Floyd neutralized him they believed the excuse of the shoulder. It's literally the same situation with Spence and the people, such as myself, that do believe he wasn't physically right. But in a rematch, after I've seen the styles together in the ring, I'm willing to admit Crawford just isn't a good stylistic matchup for Spence.

That's what you think :mjlol:

I watched Mayweather vs Pac in a house literally filled with casuals. Never seen so many people go from soooo happy to THAT sad. They deadass thought they were gonna see Floyd get KOed.

It was like someone unplugged a beach ball and just deflated that bytch :mjlol:

I find a hard time believing this. This sounds like some shyt to make Mayweather look like some type of underdog.

Unless you were watching that fight with a big group of white folks and Asians, I just don't see how it's possible to that this happened.

And both Wilder and Spence's opponents were undefeated, so if that's what you want to base the premise on, wouldn't it make more sense that Crawford and Fury had a better chance against them than Manny had against Mayweather?
