I may have it wrong here, but wasn't Pacquiao supposed to get something like $40 mil for fighting Crawford and took less for fighting Spence after that fell through? If anything it sounded like he nuked the price to fight Crawford (who initially also agreed, but eventually turned it down because he felt he was getting a bad deal).

He said he needed $40 mil guaranteed to fight Crawford, basically pricing himself out.
He wasn't getting that much from PBC for Spence cause it's ridiculous. He got $10 mil guaranteed for Thurman and $5mil for Ugas for reference points

Bud vs Charlo would be a fun build up

It's funny because he says he's still cool with Jermall. Even Prograis kinda eluded to being cool with Jermall but don't really hang around them as much as he used to.

2. i said nothing about spence's technique having been any different than what it is
3. i do agree that bud would beat any version of spence
4. spence is clearly diminished. this was by far the worst he has ever looked. there was nothing normal about his punch resistance, balance, or strength during that fight. while he was showing glimpses of that during the ugas fight, it was not as egregious as it was in this fight. still, bud would beat spence in any condition.

Yeah was another thing that was weird to me every time he went down he didn't just drop but rather stumbled.

Because he was mentally broken by Crawford. Being broken like that takes a toll on you physically but more so mentally to where he burnt out faster

Yeah. Spence may be more energized at 54 but unless he or DJ can figure out a way to neutralize Bud's jab, the same result will happen.

WBO already announced that they're stepping Mel and making Tsyzu the champ as soon as they finish the ring walks for Canelo Mel

Seems like there's an opening for Crawford to contend at 154 for the WBO since he's a WBO champion at a lower weight class. I really hope there is no rematch with Spence so he can contend for the 154 WBO in his next fight
