Prime pac obliterates Spence. Damn near on Antonio Margarito level. His feet are simply too slow for those type of elite fighters.

The fight from a few years ago woulda been 50-50. Cause pac woulda still been able to catch Spence everytime he leaned in or backed up on a straight line just like bud was. Thats how he caught Thurman and Keith has much faster feet than Spence. Spence just has a horrible habit of keeping his head high and stiff when he's backing up. That's suicide against fast guys who can cover distance quickly.

When you have slow feet you can't afford to have no head movement. Guys like James toney and canelo understood that. Spence showed zero improvement defensively over the years. That's gotta be on derrick James.

But can/could Pac have taken Spence punches? IDK who y'all feel hits harder outta Spence and Thurman but Thurman was putting heavy hands on Pac as that right went on. Sad that we'll never know :mjcry:

I knew it was over when derrick James said that. He just lit the fire that was already burning.

Yup, while I don't think those Derrick James comments had much to do with the bulk part of the fight itself as Crawford was basically going to win either way, there was definitely extra added motivation.

Almost no doubt in my mind after Crawford figured he got this fight won easy that he was going to put a little extra something on it for those comments.

Additionally, now because dude said that, Crawford and that team are going to go that much extra after they've won.

They definitely fukked up bringing her into it.

I'll keep it a bean, I am a fan not a stan of Spence and still will be but it is true that had the outcome been the other way, Spence stans wouldn't have been showing no ounce of "grace" and/or "respect" towards Crawford.

And I don't mean on The Coli, I mean social media wise mainly Twitter boxing heads. Seeing them have to give Crawford his props gotta be killing and even some of them STILL giving Crawford backhanded props.

One thing i'll say from most folks who are Crawford fans/stans or those just picked Crawford to win is that while they're getting their shyt off (deservingly so), they not claiming Spence as overrated or a hype job. They've acknowledged he great in his own right, but he just ran into someone who was/is better than him.

Spence fans/stans just need to rewatch the fight and you'll see he was fine...he just got his ass beat by an ATG fighter. The bully got bullied :yeshrug:
Eh thats normal standom, dudes be mentally ill and fan of men instead just appreciating fighters. You'll have insert fans making 50 million excuses but had he won other fighter would have been overrated. If a fighter make you depressed cause he loss you need to get some help :hubie:. Not many retire undefeated that's the sport we're fans of. Even floyd would had eventually loss if he kept fighting, when you appreciate fighters in a respect way you can learn to appreciate the victory. Spence got his ass whipped crawford should be appreciated. That also goes the other way, if you in a fighters pockets or business sense you on some weirdo shyt. Appreciate the sport instead of stanning men

Everyone's "boxing knowledge" on Spence dominating has been exposed. I was watching this Comedian roundtable on the Porter Way podcast.

48:00

- "Spence's power that people think he have does not take effect until the 7th or 8th round, since he stepped up to the elite level I have not seen him knock out anyone before the 7th round"
- "So knowing that, what makes you think Crawford can't pressure him the first 3 or 4 rounds? That's Crawford's mentality, to test Spence to see what he got"
- "People think Crawford pressuring Errol wouldn't work because in ya'll mind ya'll are brainwashed to believe that Errol is the stronger fighter of the two"
- "Spence can't fight on his backfoot so why not Crawford have the mentality to go get him?!"
- "Derrick James was mentioning Crawford's athleticism that he going to be like Roy Jones so we will wait a couple of years. If you really wanted a true fight, why are you hoping his athleticism would be gone in 5 years? You telling me that's a problem for ya'll"
- "This is what every Bully got to run into. What happens when your bullying don't work??"

Tell me how this Comedian Scruncho got more boxing knowledge than 90% of the Ring :deadrose::deadrose::deadrose:. Dude predicted what was going to happen TO A TEE

Yeah, I watched that and was thinking the same thing. It wasn't even the fact that he was spot on with everything, which he was, but that he was thinking analytically and asking great questions. We need more of that in sports analysis overall. Everything now is damn near strictly narrative based. Falling in love with a narrative will damn near always get in the way of objective analysis.

Knowing what we know now any southpaw with Speed, counter punching ability, angles, and power picks Spence apart.. There's a reason why Spence looked sweet to a 42 yr old Pacquiao

I actually said this on fight night, there's a reason Pacquiao wanted Spence and not Crawford.

Why would you go after the bigger fighter in your division and not the lighter fighter still getting adjusted to your weight? Pacquiao saw the distance in speed and probably felt much more confident about that fight.

We do know now that Bomac confirmed Pacquiao did physically sign to fight Bud, but the Spence fight was literally the one to materialize because that's the matchup he really wanted of the two. Pacquiao and Roach also have been pretty upfront about thinking Crawford would win, they knew that was going to be a much tougher fight.

I'm sure Al was offering more money for a spence ppv than Arum too, Arum didn't believe in paying for bud. Everything doesn't have to be this deep psychoanalysis post fight. Pacman a hof, he aint ducking any smoke.

:wtf: Pac vs Spence was easily the bigger fight money wise, of course Manny would want that one
