Remember the media at the time saying, "oh kell will be alright...he's a big welterweight!!"

I respect the hustle and since everyone else at 147 is doing the dodging, fukk it, why not.
No one is dodging him, everyone at the top is locked up or Arum is hiding them.

Exactly what Garcia is going to do.
I agree

Wouldn’t he get more if he fought Danny Garcia?

Loses both but much more winnable plus u add the rican vs Mexican twist.

Spence should really be a 154.
Garcia is looking to get his title back not fight Mikey imho.
If Danny had a title it would be a good fight to me.

Garcia strikes me a guy who doesn’t wanna spend his whole life boxing . He’s supremely talented but I don’t see the passion in him for boxing like that. I could see him retiring if he takes an L to Spence.
Yeah it seems like he wants all these big fights now so he can retire

Spence/Garcia will be A LOT closer then people think. I wouldn't even be surprised if Garcia won. Not saying he will, as I've always thought Spence would beat him, but let's just say it wouldn't be much of an upset.

Garcia should stick to 140 ,if he happens to fight Spence we'll get a similar GGG Vs Brook situation.

Mikey v Spence will be nothing like that

That fight was made by 2 desperate men

Brook was desperate not to face his mando (Spence)

And golovkin didn't wanna face his mando (Jacobs) before he fought Canelo

Mikey unlike Brook will get months to bulk in preparation

Mikey and Spence are much better fighters than Brook & golovkin

And they're not fighting each other in an effort to avoid someone

This will be P4P #1 moving up to face the man many believe to be the best 147

This will be legendary shyt :blessed:

You are correct.

Its not really a secret though. The guy is desperate for PPV/big money fights and has been trying to fast track that process, which is why he's doing all of this weight class hopping.

If you really take your career seriously, we all know the "right" way to do it is just to jump in that weight class and get acclimated to it. Andre Ward did not go straight to Kovalev. He let himself get acclimated to 175.

At the same time, I guess I can't blame Garcia. When he first arrived to 135, he clearly said I would love to unify, BUT i will not allow the politics of boxing hold me back. He's trying to make things happen. Boxing is such a slow moving sport. It takes 4 fukking years just to unify a damn division. We probably won't get an undisputed @ 147 until 2021 or some shyt. It's a joke. So instead of going to 147, and take a damn year or two to get acclimated to the weight, he's just gonna do it in a few months.

He won't retire after he loses to Spence, because the Loma fight is right there.

I think the Spence fight is a personal goal of his. It makes sense to fight Spence and then Loma as opposed to vice versa. If he were to lose to Loma, then you can't really make a Spence-Garcia fight. Doing it this way, the Loma fight is still there. I think taking this path, he sort of acknowledges Loma is a huge threat.

Breh said he looked like the Martin from that Tommie Hearns episode :mjlol: gracious in defeat though, hopefully he can learn from this and not let An L create a downward spiral for his career like a lot of fighters this generation.

Easter has some skills. He is a good fighter and showed some good things last night, but he doesnt have any wrinkles in his game. This is why I think its only so far a guy's father can take him. He needs to work with other trainers.

He didnt have enough head movement. No feigns. Most of all he didnt move his hands enough in spots. He is either defense or offense. Mikey won because he would tee off on Easter and Easter wouldnt fire back. This led to Mikey stealing a lot of the rounds that Easter had in the bag. When you fight Mikey, you have to come right back with your own shots to keep the output equal and dont let him steal rounds. Also, Mikey got Easter on the ropes but Easter didnt put him on the ropes.

At 27, I can see Easter getting a little better if he learns some things from a great trainer or two.

Mikey a true champ for calling out Spence. :salute: thats the absolute worst WW he could choose. Spence will stop Mikey. Quote me on that.

Outside of Spence and crawford, mikey would prolly be the favorite vs everybody else. Mikey had to fight a different style tonight. Vs Spence he could just sit back and counter punch. Dont know if he can take spences body shots, but Spence is nowhere as slick as Easter. I could see mikey catching him early with some big shots. He would have to fight a perfect fight to beat spence though. But its definitely possible.
Ain't nothing slick about Easter, y'all see a nikka use a bullshyt shoulder roll that he doesn't know how to use effectively and swear they slick.
