Have you never seen Shibata v Okada then? :ohhh:

Na, never saw them wrestle

Like I literally just got on NJPW 2 years ago or so.

Hell I thought niccas like Taichi was new until about this G1 hearing that he’s been there for a minute.

For me, it was like he came out of now where when he returned to SG

GOATsuyori Shibata back? :ohhh::ohhh::ohhh: The crowd went from :hhh: to :ohhh:to :gladbron:to :blessed: within seconds.

Did he somehow get cleared for competition because if he's back for Jan 4th:banderas::banderas::banderas:

He owes Okada The Fade Of All Fades

Kenta saw that his future was gonna be filled with tours tagging with Yo He Trash, B and said 'Fukk it!'.:lolbron:

Just when the internet might finally be completely done with BC, Gedo activated his trap card. :wow:

MiSu took the Summer off, cos he loves Winter beef:misuz::blessed: He won't win the strap, but he should. What would be more perfect for WK than Kota - a man who wants to die in the ring - vs - Suzuki - a man who wants to kill people in the ring. :manny:

Ibushi v Switchblade. What a match. :wow: The emotional storytelling they pulled off was outstanding.

Man went from getting offered a WWE Developmental contract to headlining the Tokyo Dome in 4 years. It's fukking CRAZY how Vince undervalues talent in general.

The booking for that show was :wow:

Coming out of it you've got:

Kenta joining the Bullet Club:mindblown:

Shibata potentially coming back :mindblown::mindblown::mindblown::mindblown::mindblown:
A new challenger for the title :mjlit:

Ibushi going to The Tokyo Dome.:gladbron:
Is it safe to say  the road to Wrestle Kingdom begins now?

Bruuuuuuuh.

This should basically answer all your questions. About him as a wrestler, a character and how good he is/was.

This is the last match he had before retiring. The injury that put him out is towards the end. It's one of my all time favourite matches.

Dave said the KENTA turn was the best angle of the past 30 years :dead: Also said there's no plans at the moment for Shibata to wrestle. They really stayed away from his head during everything and I'd say he does similar spots in the dojo so I'm not too confident in a dome match :patrice: Imagine Shibata/Shingo though :wow:

30 years

30 YEARS :laff:

Not since THE MEGA POWERS EXPLODE has been any significative event in wrestling until now

The crowd reaction for Shibata :blessed::blessed::blessed::blessed:

Lmao at Kenta looking like he was literally about to cry after the corner drop kick:mjlol:

At best, we'll get Kenta/Shibata out of this. At worst, Kenta/Ishii. :blessed:

Not surprising. He may have been through that crazy WWE schedule but the G1 is a different beast altogether. Seemed like KENTA was having similar issues as well.

Word, I wonder if he thought he could do it because he would work over 18 matches a month for 7 years on the main roster schedule. Like you said though, he knows now that while WWE schedule year-round is crazier than New Japan's, the G1 specifically is a tougher schedule.
